Prologue From The Journal of High Queen Aliena: There's not much time left. Every day more factions are waging war, and there has been more and more bloodshed. It is like the Dark Ages are back. Rowan and I have been putting all of our strength into holding peace but we fear it will all be in vain until the Coven Realms have been healed. The great prophecy There comes a bringer of light, beautiful as the sun, rider, and mixed alike. She holds part of the key to the salvation of the Coves. There comes a giver of shadow, as cruel as Hades, fae and mixed alike. It is he who holds the second part of the key to salvation.
