"When will we be leaving?" you ask Jungkook as you zip up the bag after putting all the clothes in.
It's 12 in the noon. You've just cut the video call with Eun Jae. He misses you there and you do too. You just want to be there with your son as soon as possible.
" In the evening. Is it all packed?" he asks and goes on to type something on his laptop again while sitting on the bed. He's in this position since morning. You wonder what he's doing on that screen.
"If this meeting goes successfully, we'll be a lot more step closer to end this EXO range drama for once and all," Jungkook sighs as he rubs his temples.
"You should rest a little. You're staring at the screen for hours. It's not healthy," you sit on the bed as you hand him the glass of water.
"I know but they're getting a dangerous threat. I want this to end, don't wanna risk lives anymore," he chugs down the water in one go.
"Anyways how's Eun Jae?" he asks.
"Great! He misses us though. Ah jumma takes him to the play school and he showed me something he learned from there," you giggle.
"He's growing smart. We'll be there soon," he mumbles while typing on the keyboard. You don't disturb him further and excuse yourself to roam outside of the room, in the mansion.
You walk to the kitchen to get to eat something. There you meet one of Jungkook's cousin's wife. She walks carefully towards the sink to put the empty glass in it. She's 7 months pregnant and her bump is big and prominent. Looking at her, you usually remember the time when you had Eun Jae filling in the sense of nostalgia.
"OH Y/N?" she calls for me.
"Yes Rika. How are you?" you ask her as you open the fridge to look for something.
"I'm good, sweetie. By the way if you're looking for something to eat, please don't eat my chocolate cake in there," she chuckles.
"OH," you look at the cake set inside the fridge, "I won't. I know all the cravings you get".
You smile at her and take out some sandwiches. For now, it'll be enough. Setting it on the kitchen island, you start talking with Rika about the ball last night. She was just babbling about how beautiful the wedding proposal was. You can't help but think of that moment over and over again.
It has to be one of the most cherish able moments in your life. You felt incredibly loved, cared for and important for someone.
