chapter 2 the first interaction

The week passed, and Kalego was flying to the house of Nocravaud to visit his arranged fiancée

He arrived and as he goes to the gate, a Butler appears then approached the man

"Good morning, you just be Naberius Kalego.. Madam Selver's arranged fiance"

He nodded
"Yes, I am, is she here?"

The Butler said in return
"No, the madame is in a meeting with the 13 crowns, but you can wait for her in her living room as you wait for her arrival"

The Butler gestured him to follow
"Follow me inside, sir Kalego.."

Kalego followed the Butler inside the house of Nocravaud, and the place was huge as the outside it was as big as an estate..

Kalego and the Butler arrive in the living room, and the Butler turns to face kalego

"Sir Kalego, you can sit on the couch while waiting for the madame, i'll bring you some cookies or biscuits and some coffee if you want."

Kalego replied
"I just want a coffee, thank you,"

The Butler nodded and left, Kalego sat on the couch and leaned back, he brings out a book and started to read while waiting for his coffee and his arranged fiancée..

Hands tapping impatiently on the table in front of me while I sat in the middle of another meeting

It was mostly a meeting of another small occurrence that happened in one of their locations. Nothing too out of the ordinary

eyes flickered from each crown who sat proudly as they moved their mouths to share irrelevant thoughts, sighing, I leaned my back further against my chair. Waiting for the word of dismissal rolling off from the lips of the 3 greats, oh how good of a melody would it be as it drowned in my ears

"Any other news regarding the borders of the netherworld?" Sullivan spoke as he stared at each one of us, waiting for a slight disturbance to the silence that filled the room

"Let's end the meeting for today, shall we?" he stood up along with the others as they said their farewells.. It was about time

I need a warm bath, coffee and a massage once I get home. Work has really been taking a toll on my time, especially after hearing the news of meeting my fiance later this afternoon

My butler opened the door for me then I walked in after returning from the meeting I had
"Welcome back madame, was the meeting as good as always?"
He bowed as he spoke.

I sighed then rubbed the back of my neck
"You can say that, prepare me a warm bath"

He nodded then closed the door behind me
"Madame, your fiance is waiting in the living room.. You shouldn't let him wait longer. "

I sigh
"He's already here? Ugh, fine, i'll meet him.

I took off my coat then handed it to him then strutted towards my living room, expecting to see the man I'll marry. Honestly, I don't expect much from him other than being a douchebag
