Hey everyone and thank you for reading this! :)
I hope you like it <3 <3
By the way in this story Ron is married to another witch, which gives birth to Rose :) :) :) :)

"Dead, d-dead?" stuttered Ginny helplessly. Constance was just newborn and Hermione - dead? It was a question of sadness and depression. Why? She had just been out to the corner shop and now everything had gone wrong. Everything had been so perfect. Constance, birth, new mother. Why? Why?

Harry came accompanied with James, Albus and Lily who were standing by the foot of room.
"Harry!" exclaimed Ginny but said no more. Her face fell as pointed towards the dark bedsheet covering Hermione.
"She's dead. And little Constance still can't get over it, luckily she's still asleep."
Harry's face dimmed as he walked gently towards the body. A moment later he sprang up and punched the walls in frustration. Ron appeared with his daughter Rose and started crying in desperation. Neither reaction was the same as Ginny's. She clutched Albus's shoulders and kissed him on the cheek. Death brought back memories of Lily's birth, she had been seriously ill and just survived. A tear escaped his eyes. Ginny swallowed a hard lump that has formed in her throat.
"Mummy - what are we going to do with the baby?" Lily asked in a whisper. She was obviously traumatized by her father's behaviour.
"Keep calm - and...and carry on." Suddenly she caught glimpse at a parchment letter on the bedside table. It read:
I give my daughter Constance Alice Granger in adoption to my best friend Ginerva Molly Potter (neé Weasley), her husband Harry James Potter and their children James, Al and Lily Potter.
Ginny found herself sweating. Constance in her hands? Three was already a lot of hassle and Lily could just be accepted by Harry as he had refused to have a third child. He had mocked James into thinking that he had actually hoped that Lily had died in her illness but Ginny was pretty sure it was true. James hadn't though, and Al was mad at Harry for saying that. Lily was Al's closest family member - especially after Lily's so-called 'birth illness'.

Ginny had been correct about Harry's reaction. He sighed unwillingly but gave in. Al was really exhilarated. He had always dreamed of having another sibling.
James on the other hand wasn't on top mood.
"Another sister!" he cried. "Why couldn't Hermione give birth to a boy? Oh, who am I now going to play football with now?" Al's gonna be all turned up with Connie."
"Mummy I want to see Connie," whispered Lily.
Ginny nodded and carried her over to Constance and then broke into a sentence, " James, where did you get 'Connie' from?"
James chuckled and replied that there was a girl that everyone called Connie, even teachers. Most people have even forgotten her real name and Connie was real cool.
Ginny sighed and looked into the newborn's face. She looked just like Hermione, the nose, the warm, smiling lips, the chin in the air, the rosy, heathy-looking cheeks. The baby flapped her eyes open. There, were gray eyes that were filled with tears yet looked welcoming and hearty. Her hair was blonde like Draco's had been, but Ginny ignored the fact and tried to imagine that Hermione had had hair that blonde,  but failed. Lily, on the other hand, had whispered something just audible for Ginny; "I love you Constance and nothing can stop me from doing that."
