"Brother Leo, can you check if it has any error that I should take note of?"
It's been a month since the day Iris becomes Leo's little sister and right now everyone can see the relationship between them is really close just like how a sibling is. When outsiders saw them, they absolutely will believe that both of them are a real sibling.
"Okay, let me check it first. I will inform you later"
Lucas who saw how their relationship changes bit by bit makes him proud of himself by following his heart to help the little girl he saw that wants to end her life.
"Hey, Lucas! Can you stop staring at my lil sis like that?! I am not going to agree with you being my brother-in-law" Lucas's eyes widen.
"Hey, that is up to Iris herself. If she agreed, I am glad to give myself to her" Lucas playfully winks at Iris which makes her shake her head, knowing how playful Lucas is. However, deep down in her heart, she knows she felt something when Lucas said something like that. She is a girl, there is nothing she can do about that.
"You are an uncle to her," Leo said but then shocked hearing Iris reply.
"If Lucas is an uncle, you are an uncle too, Brother Leo. Since both of you are in the same age"
Lucas laughed loudly after that and then walked to the kitchen. He then ruffled her hair on the way before going to drink some water. His action makes Iris's heart pace increase a bit. This guy should stop doing that to me.
After that, her mind goes back to the work that Leo gave to her. They discussed a bit and after Iris takes note of certain things, they closed their laptop, meaning that they were finished with today's work.
"Iris, are you ready to work with us after this? I am pretty sure that you are ready by now. I don't have anything to teach you anymore since you already know everything you need. Right now, you only have to experience a real thing. What did you say?" Iris looks at Leo and Lucas and considered their offers. Truthfully, she did not ready yet to show herself in public, even this whole month, most of her time ends at home.
"Can I work from home?" she asked.
"Of course, you can, lil sis. However, there will be some times that you have to come to the office too." Leo said.
"Little girl, I know what you are worried for. I know you are not ready yet but I also know that this little girl of mine is a strong beautiful girl that I ever know. So, you don't have to worry about anything" Lucas said knowing that those words coming from his heart, he smiles at her, not knowing that give a bit of impact to Iris.
"I told you don't flirt with my lil sis, right?" Leo playfully punched Lucas's hand.
"I am telling her the truth!"
"Thank you." Both of them stop fighting after hearing a thank you from Iris.
"You're welcome, my lil sis"
"My pleasure, my little girl"
"It's late now, go to sleep, Iris. Sleep well and have a nice dream" Leo said and Iris go to her room after saying good night to both of them.
After making sure the door of her room was closed, Leo's turned on his laptop again and Lucas grabbed his glasses and wear it. Now it's the time for their secret mission discussion.
"This is by far the information that we already got. We still need solid proof to show that they are doing all those things. Even though these records can be considered solid proof, they can say that we modified them." Leo said while scrolling through his laptop.
"We still did not get to bypass their security, right?" Leo nodded.
"It's nearly impossible to breach through it. Well, they can't hide their animals' activities if they can be breached easily." Lucas and Leo let out a deep sigh thinking about this.
"We need someone to help us. We need Void's help. Since you as the top two hackers can not do it, we need his help." Leo looked at Lucas.
"Void? He is impossible to reach though. No one can reach him except when he is willing to show himself."
"I can help" Both of them were startled to hear a voice behind them.
"Iris! Why are you still up?"
"I know Void" she continued ignoring the question Leo asked her.
"You know Void? How?" Lucas asked, suddenly feeling restless by that fact.
"I know him when I am in that hell. He suddenly goes MIA, even the monsters don't know where he is. However, he gives me this number saying that whenever I need him, use this number to contact him. I trust you guys, so I am telling you this" Iris explained to them.
"But first of all, how did you know our plan?" Leo asks her which makes her smile.
"Well, both of you don't hide that fact really well from me. You guys can't enter the world of acting if this is how you want to fool me."
"There's nothing that I can hide from my lil sis anymore." Leo sulks while Lucas laughed at how idiot they are trying to fool someone who can read someone really well.
Then, Iris hands out a piece of paper to Lucas, saying that this is Void's number.
"How about you call him? He knows you" Lucas said and Leo nodded. Without waiting, Iris takes out her phone which was bought by Lucas for her and dialling up the number.
-Iris?
-You know it is me?
-You are the only one I give this number to. Are you in danger, sweetheart?
-Not really, but I need your help.
-Got your location, I am coming.
-Huh? Wait!
He hung up already. Iris stunted while looking at both men in front of her. While they have this questionable face, asking her what's going on, she let out a deep sigh.
"He's coming over"
"Wow, that's fast. That's why I am still stuck as number two."
