I run as fast as I can, dodging, jumping, and pushing past leaves.

The guide was yelling my name for me to push faster.

We slid under a large tree that had fallen over and quickly kept running until we reached a large rock.

The guide stopped and hid against the rock and ushered for me to stop.

We peered around our surroundings, It was quite.. too quite.

"I think we lost em', we just gotta get to the chopper."

The guide turned back towards me and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Behind the guide a raptor jumped down onto a dead tree and lunged at us.

We ran further into the forest, sprinting our way in the direction of the Helicopter. The raptors call's were heard from behind us, without looking back I kept a steady pace behind the guide.

I could hear the rest of the pack gather from behind, running in the bushes to try and ambush us.

"Come on!" The guide yelled, he ran into a patch of tall grass leading into a pile of raptor bones.

I got up and kept running, hearing the calls of the raptors behind me getting closer.

I ran until I fell in a small stream of water.

"Hurry! We're almost to the extraction point!" The guide hopped on the rocks, avoiding falling into the water.

"What? No! The water, we can use-" I tried calling out to the guide, but it was too late the raptor pack had caught up and dragged him into the bushes, tearing him apart.

I quickly backed up against the dirt wall behind me and started splashing the water on me in a panic.

While I was splashing myself with the water, heavy footsteps rattled the ground above me.

I quickly looked behind me to come face-to-face with the T-Rex.

"You've gotta be shitting me-"

I cursed under my breath. I quickly launched myself forward, narrowly escaping the jaws of the T-Rex.

I continued to sprint along the new dirt path that laid in front of me, leading to the Helicopter.

I stumbled as I ran, hearing the T-Rex roar in frustration. It was hungry, and I was on the menu.

I re-gained myself and got back into a fast sprint, I kept running until I saw a pile of bones.

Perfect

I dived into the pile of bones and quickly searched for a raptors skull.

"Come on-Come on!"

I heard the T-Rex get closer as I frantically look for the skull in the enormous pile of bones.

Then I saw it.

I quickly grabbed the skull and whipped my head around to look at the T-Rex.

I blew into it, right before I became T-Rex chow and the skull imitated a raptors call.

The raptors from before leaped out, and onto the T-Rex. The Helicopter landed and the T-Rex roared in frustration.

I ran towards the chopper and quickly got in.

The screen turned into a blinding white color, then transitioned to a golden background with the words congratulations on it.

I stared in shock, nearly dropped my controller and I ripped my VR headset off and watched the screen as Mister DNA popped up.

"Congratulations! You're the first person to ever beat our game! So, we wanna reward you with a trip to Jurassic World's brand new, state-of-the-art adventure camp. That's right, get ready to join us at Camp Cretaceous!"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"MILEY! GET IN HERE!" I yelled for my younger sibling and she came storming into my room, almost falling over.

"wHat?!"

I didn't say anything back I just flung my arms in the air and started frantically pointing towards my computer screen.

Thier face changed from confusion to shock in the matter of seconds. He(Miley is gender fluid so I will be switching from He/She/They/Sibling pronouns) ran over to me, pulled me out of my gaming chair and hugged me tightly as we made demonic- happy noises.

"SHUT UP, UP THERE!"

Our dad yelled out from downstairs, Miley and I just rolled out eyes while we continued to celebrate, just quieter.

Miley helped me pack my things, and I called my best friend Lizzy. I told her about how I finally beat the game and i was going to Jurassic world.

I asked if she wanted to come along, because I was the first person to beat the game I'm allowed to bring a plus one, pretty cool.

I would've taken Miley but she has school, so I had to take the next best option, and I'm definitely not bringing my younger brother Nathan. He would whine the entire time, and I can't handle him an entire summer where I can't just hide in my room.

I started packing several different clothes I would need, such as Pj's, day clothes, possible hiking clothes, a swim suit, and so on. I stopped in my tracks though when I heard a knock at my door.

Miley and I both looked up from packing to see our Father leaning on the door frame, looking frustrated as usual.

"What's all this for?" His voice was gruff and low.

"Oh, uh– I beat that video game so I won a trip to Jurassic World." I explained, I tried to keep eye contact with him to a minimum.

"And what makes you think I'd let you leave? Who's going to do the house work and take care of your brother if you're gone?"

"Well, I just thought since you're the adult maybe you could.." I said under my breath.

"Excuse me?" He no longer was leaning on the door frame, and he was now glaring at me. I immediately regretted what I let slip out and hung my head down in shame.

Miley stood to the side awkwardly, glaring at our Father.

"That's what I thought, now quit this nonsense and prepare dinner, I'm hungry" He walked back down stairs and I let out a frustrated sigh.

I stopped putting clothes away and began walking out of my room to prepare dinner, but in the corner of my eyes I saw Miley continue to pack?

I stopped mid-way through the door frame and looked back at her, confused.

"What are you doing? Dad said I'm not going?" I asked them, and she continued to pack.

"I don't care what Dad said, You've waited for this opportunity your entire life AND you've worked too hard for it to just not go. Dad makes you do too much when he's the adult, you've practically raised Nathan when it should have been him. You need a break, and you need to enjoy yourself for once, we will be fine one summer without you."

I stood there surprised, I knew everything she said was true but hearing it made a feeling of relief wash over me. They stopped packing and looked up at me with a smile on her face, I couldn't help but smile back.

He walked over to me and hugged me tightly, I great fully returned the hug.

"So how are we going to sneak me out of the house on time for the boat?" I asked them as I pulled away from the hug.

They thought for a moment, and then their face lit up and I knew they had an Idea.

"I have an Idea, but you go make dinner before Dad gets up here and scolds you. I'll continue to pack your suitcase and I'll tell Lizzy the plan."

I nodded and headed downstairs.
