John stumbled out of the bar, his vision blurry and his head spinning. He knew he shouldn't have had so much to drink, but the alcohol helped him forget the pain of his recent breakup. He stumbled down the dark streets, unsure of where he was going.

As he walked, the world around him began to shift and warp. The streetlights flickered and seemed to dance in his vision. The buildings twisted and contorted, becoming grotesque and otherworldly. John tried to blink the hallucinations away, but they only grew stronger.

Suddenly, John found himself standing in front of an old abandoned house. The windows were shattered, the roof caved in, and the entire structure looked like it was on the verge of collapse. Despite the obvious danger, John felt an overwhelming urge to enter the house.

Inside, the darkness was suffocating. John stumbled forward blindly, his hands outstretched in front of him. The air was thick with the scent of decay and something else, something he couldn't quite place. His heart pounding in his chest, John felt his way through the house, searching for a way out.

But the house seemed to have no end. The rooms twisted and turned, leading John down endless hallways and through hidden doors. And no matter how far he walked, he never seemed to get any closer to the exit.

As he walked, John heard whispers and laughter echoing through the halls. The voices were indistinct, but they seemed to be taunting him, leading him further into the house. John tried to call out, but his voice was hoarse and weak.

Finally, John found himself in a small room at the end of a narrow hallway. In the center of the room was a small table, upon which sat a single candle. John approached the table, the flickering flame casting strange shadows across the walls.

Suddenly, the whispers grew louder. John could hear the words now, a cacophony of voices all speaking at once. They were telling him to blow out the candle, to extinguish the light.

With trembling hands, John reached for the candle. As he blew out the flame, the world around him collapsed in on itself, twisting and warping into a nightmare landscape. And John knew, with a sickening certainty, that he was trapped in this never-ending nightmare forever.
