The group enters the meeting room as I stand outside, waiting for the impetuous couple. – Unfortunately, our manager and the marketing team are ready to start, but the team isn't complete.
"Taeyong-ah, you should relax. They are coming soon," I heard Jaehyun say, causing me to look at him.
"How could I, Jaehyun? They are coming late. Again!" I pointed out, upset.
"Yesterday, both celebrated their anniversary. So, it's normal they aren't here yet," Jaehyun defended our friends, making me shake my head at him.
"When they started dating, I told them: NCT must remain their priority," I mentioned upon hearing people panting. Immediately, I looked before me and saw Yuta running beside Mark. "Finally!"
Jaehyun rolled his eyes after hearing me, and then he greeted our friends kindly. "Hurry up! Everyone is inside already," Jaehyun calmly said.
"Yes, get inside. And Yuta, after this meeting, we must talk," I earnestly said before entering the room.
"Hyung!" Yuta called me, but I didn't turn around; instead, I stood beside my seat and waited for the meeting to start.
"Splendid! Everyone is here. Now, we may begin," our manager said before allowing the group to sit.
After taking our places, we waited for the manager to speak; however, I couldn't keep myself calm; I was bitter because of Yuta and Mark's negligence.
"Calm down; someone will notice," Jaehyun whispered near my ear before holding my hand under the table.
I felt nervous after feeling Jaehyun's touch but shortly nodded at his words. Then, our manager showed a presentation on the monitor.
"The tour was a success; the fans enjoyed the performances and sections, so well done, everyone!" Our manager said before everybody clapped. "After much deliberation with Mr. CEO, we decided to give you a month to rest or prepare for the upcoming activities."
"Right. Guys, we want you to promote as soloists or units before NCT 127's next comeback," a marketing team member said.
"Units?" Mark asked.
"Yes, Mark, units. We are still making the following units; perhaps tomorrow, we'll give you an update on all activities and schedules," our manager disclosed before changing the presentation; it showed some unit ideas and solo promotions.
"Yuta, we want you to focus on promoting in Japan more. After your successful acting debut, we thought it would be great to explore more similar opportunities," the marketing team director explained.
