Ch. 13

I walked out and headed towards the sound classroom. I open the door and everybody's heads turned to me. Their eyes, fixated on me. I scan the room, looking for the teacher. Once I found him, I started walking towards him when all of a sudden, I fell. My hand hit a button as I fell. The button let out a long, loud screech.

"Who pressed the emergency button?!" Mr. Bane turned his head so fast, it looked like he was going to snap his head off. He looked around the room and found me on the floor. "Nicki? Nicki Campton? What a surprise!" He quickly walked toward me. It seemed more like a jog than a walk. He extended his hand out, I grabbed it and he pulled me up. "Class most of you know-" The door creaked open and Niall walked in. "Mr. Horan, go find your seat." Now, there are two classrooms for sound. One where you learn all the basics. The second one has little individual studios for partners. One singing and the other making the sound effects or auto-tune. Niall got to his seat and Mr. Bane kept say how I am a star pupil. At remixing and auto-tuning. Whoop-de-do! As he was "praising" me, I looked at all the kids in the class and saw who tripped me. It was Marco. I can't stand him . Mr. Bane finished "lecturing" and class was finally over. I went through the whole day trying to avoid Marco, and realized that I was also avoiding Niall, for no reason. I succeeded, avoiding Marco, till the last bell rang. I saw Niall and he told me to meet him in the woodshop room, I agreed. So, I hurried to my locker when I bumped into Marco. I tried going around him, but he grabbed my arm and dragged me down to the basement. It felt like the devil was pulling me down to hell. I escaped Marco's grasp, and tried running away. But he yanked me back by my hair.

"Where do you think you're going?" He whispered in my ear.

"Marco, we all know you like me, but why do you bully me?" It's true, he likes me, I hate him. It all works out, right? Nope. He whispered in my ear,

"Because if I can't have you, nobody can." He took me to the sound room and locked me in one of the studios.
