╰┈➤ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒: I think the title speaks for itself... this is how you first met Malachi

You were going down on the stairs of your school, getting ready for P.E., it was a random Friday, and that was your last class for that day. You were already exhausted enough from your previous lessons, and, like the smart person you are, you were climbing down those stairs meantime texting your friend, but noticing there are only two minutes left until your next class starts you started picking up your pace, not even bothering to look up from your phone.

Meanwhile... Malachi was running up the same stairs to his next lecture. That was kinda just his character, but he wasn't bothered to look at his surroundings either.

You both were in your own worlds til you felt your head hitting something, more specifically, someone's chest: "O-OH!--" the impact shocked you, dropping your phone. That got you real mad, it wasn't your best day either. You didn't even glance at the person you had just bumped in, Malachi wasn't even processing what just happened. You picked your phone up from the ground; You were getting ready to throw a fit, yelling at the top of your lungs almost: "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING NEXT TI-" you decided to look up.

And instantly stopped your sentence.

'Who even is this?'

You noticed his features.

How his hair perfectly complimented his whole face; How beautiful, tanned and clear his skin was; How his orbs looked onto yours without breaking the eye contact by any means, it felt as if you two were even blinking at the same time; Oh, he was just so... 'What even is the word for that... handsome?'

You felt your face getting all hot- but, did that even matter? In that current moment, you just wanted to look at him. The sight in front of you was just so... pleasing for some reason... you could read in his eyes that he wasn't a bad person, and he didn't mean to make you drop your phone or anything, so why were you just about to yell at him?

Malachi was deep in his thoughts too and he wanted to break the silence, but the bell ringing was faster than his ability to properly speak up his mind.

Suddenly remembering your priorities, you bounced down the stairs without saying a word.

When you finally arrived in the gym you looked at your phone, still a bit mad at the guy you encountered earlier... though he was cute. The screen wasn't even broken, nor did it have any scratches. It was intact. No nothing. So you yelled at him for nothing. 'Bruh... seriously?'

--------------

After P.E. you were done packing your things, ready to get past the school's gates, but you felt a tap on your shoulder. It's the boy from earlier. You didn't even have time to react: "Hey, sorry for earlier... I didn't mean to make you drop your phone..." he said, in a low tone. "Oh, no no no, I'm sorry for yelling at you... my phone isn't even broken. And it's also my fault for running down those stairs I guess..." he just smiled at your response.

*Ding!* you have received a notification.

"Oh, that's my mom, sorry, I really have to go" you just gave him a nervous laugh and proceeded to speed walk from there.

Not letting that happen by any means, Malachi grabbed your arm and with his cheeks red, barely noticeable from the dark lighting, he said "Wait! Could I get your number? Or your name or you-"

"It's [name]"

"Oh, nice to meet you! You can call me Malachi"

"Alright, Malachi it is then- *ding* Oh- I really have to go- see ya later!"

That day, Malachi was sure he felt something different than what he's usually felt before. He didn't know exactly what that was... and he's not sure what to call it right now either... it's just... it's the sound of your voice saying his name just sounds so relaxing to him...

A/N: Can you guys tell that I'm not good with portraying dialogues AT FUCKING ALL. ?!?????
