"Grayson, hurry up! It's time to go" Molly yells up the steps of her home. Today was the Australian Grand Prix and Daniel had invited them to come. 

Grayson hurried down the steps while trying to slip on his shoes. Molly just rolled her eyes at her son. 

"You'll trip doing that. Just put them on in the car" Molly says. Grayson nods and runs out of the house. Molly follows him and soon enough they're on their way to the track. 

"Do you think Max will win? Or maybe Lando or Oscar will come out and surprise everyone" Grayson spoke excitedly. Mclaren is definitely the boys favorite team, but after meeting Max he started rooting for him too. 

"I don't know. I kind of want Oscar to win his home race though" Molly says. 

"You're just saying that because he's Australian" Grayson accuses turning to look at his mom. 

"Maybe" She smirks and looks at him. They both laugh at each other. They sit in silence for a few minutes and Molly notices her son getting fidgety. 

"Go on. Take the aux" She said. Grayson smiles and quickly connects his phone before playing  Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer. Molly laughed and started singing along with the song. The mother-son pair had met the band a few years prior and Grayson fell in love with the Australian band's music. 

It didn't take that long to get there. They made their way to the entrance, where Daniel was waiting with both of their passes. 

"Just like every time. Don't lose them or else" Daniel says. 

"And just like every time you never tell us what the consequences are" Grayson shoots back. Molly and Daniel laugh. 

"I see you're still a smart ass" Daniel jokes while ruffling the boys hair. He moves to Molly and gives her a hug. 

"You look like you're doing well" Daniel says. 

"I am" She smiles at him. 

"Well, let's get on with the day" Daniel leads the two to the Red Bull garage. They got to watch the races in the garage because Christian had become quite fond of the mother and sons presence. 

"Molly, how are you?" Christian comes up to greet them. 

"I'm doing pretty well" She smiles at him. 

"Grayson, do you want to help Checo with his reaction test?" He asked the blonde boy. Grayson excitedly nods and follows Christian. The team principal turns around and shoots a wink at Molly. 

"So, how's the dating life going?" Daniel asks causing Molly to roll her eyes. 

"The same as always. Non existent. I don't need to do that, I have a kid to take care of" She reasons. 

"Mols, he's not three anymore. And me and him both agree that you should get out there" Daniel says. 

"Why are you talking to my son about this?" She asked while slightly glaring at him. Daniel puts his hands up in defense. 

"He brought it up" Daniel says causing the blonde to roll her eyes. "I know who he wants you to date, too" Daniel says almost tauntingly. He was trying to get her to ask. He wanted her to be intrigued. She knew exactly what he was doing, and yet she couldn't stop herself. 

"And who might that be?" She asks. Daniel smirks knowing that he won this stupid battle. 

"Oh no one really, just Max Verstappen" He says shrugging his shoulders. Molly's eyes widened.
