Can we pretend that we're good? (Cello version) - Daniel Seavey

Person A (From singers perspective) had to break up with person B for whatever reason, be it unaccepting parents, moving away, or some other reason.

It broke person B's world. Heart shattered.

Unspecified amount of time passes. They run into each other in some way, both drunk. Person A admits they never stopped loving person B, and the reason for said break up.

Emotions high, and alcohol distorting all decision making, they bed up. Filled with so much built up emotion, love or sadness. Either the most deep, tender, gentle love ever, or rough in the middle of it, tears breaking through. Up to you. In the morning, regret comes.
Person B still loves person A, but can never forgive them, or trust them, or give their heart back to them, so they leave them behind, crying as they get to be the one to leave this time.

Backstory is up to you.
