The two young children ran around the vast garden. They wore bright smiles as they played
"Norman, Emma! Time to back come inside!" Isabella called out
"Awe, 5 more minutes?" Emma asked
"Alright, then. 5 more minutes" Isabella laughed gently
"Yay!" Emma exclaimed "Norman! Wanna play tag?"
"Yeah!" Norman replied
"Tag! You're it!" Emma tapped Norman and ran
"Hey! No fair, you got a head start!" Norman laughed. The boy ran after the girl
Soon, she dissapeared into the woods in the garden
"Emma? Where are you?" Norman asked before tripping
"Norman!" Emma jumped down from a tree to check on her friend
"Gotcha" Norman giggled
"Wha- Norman! I thought you got hurt!" Emma scolded
"Sorry" Norman laughed
"Norman! Emma! Time to come back inside!" A female voice called out
"But we just started playing, Mujika" Emma whined
"No buts, Emma" Mujika responded
"Why is your cousin so mean?" Norman turned to the girl next to him
"She's not mean. She's just... different" Emma turned back to him
"Kids!" Mujika called again
"Coming, coming!" Emma stood up and reached out her hand "c'mon". Norman took her hand and got up. The two children started walking to the house when they were ambushed. A knife flew and hit the ground next to Emma, causing her to scream
"EMMA! NORMAN!" Mujika ran out into the garden upon seeing the scene
"Move outta the way, lady, and you won't be hurt" the man said
"Over my dead body" Mujika growled "Kids, run" she turned and said to the younger children. The pair ran towards the house, when, suddenly, the attacker lunged at Norman
"NORMAN" Mujika exclaimed before rushing and pushing the little boy out of the way
"MUJIKA!" Emma cried as she held her older cousin close
"Emma-" Norman reached out
"GET AWAY FROM US" Emma lashed out "this is all your fault..."
"WHAT HAPPENED HE- ..." Lucas ran into the garden and stared at the scene in front of him
"P- papa..." Emma sobbed "M- Mujika is-n't mo-vin-g" she held her cousin tighter
"YUUGO! CALL AN AMBULANCE" Lucas ran back into the house
"CHILDREN! ARE YOU OKAY!?" Isabella ran and witnessed the situation too "O- oh, dear.."

Emma awoke in a cold sweat as she recalled what had created the gap between Norman and her. She sat there, silently crying at this realization
