The world is transforming once again and once again it is reborn. Transfiguration is coming, and any change always brings about a great suffering and pain. This is how our world is. It cannot remain the same. But we hate changes. We often want things to remain as we know them. Any reality's bend we take as a catastrophe.
The heroine of this story is going to encounter such a change. For her, it will be much more horrifying than the most atrocious storm. She will have to go through humiliation and torture to save something that might seem irreclaimable. She will be suffering, feeling helpless and awfully lonely, for the sake of the most important thing in her life.
This story could have happened in any corner of the Earth. Well, it is going to begin just like it has already happened (and is happening currently) to so many people. However, things this little human will do after facing incredible danger and savage horror are likely to astonish many.
I am not going to promise you that it will end happily. There might be no happy ending at all. Nobody knows yet what will happen to her and to those she got to know in the city which real name I cannot reveal.
I may appear in this story only once, and you might not figure out who I am. I might not make an appearance at all as this story has not happened yet. It is too early. Our heroine doesn't have the faintest idea what she is going to go through, yet.
I am not aware of what decisions she is going to make and whether they will bring her to me. Will I be able to help her? Or will I have to put her out of her misery so that her little heart doesn't break from impossible pain? In that case, I would feel as if I have committed a crime. Will there be another way to help her? I don't know – for now. But there is a chance we will meet. This I can foresee.
That's all I can say, for now.
In the meantime, let me tell you about the events that lead to what has happened, about something that took place long before Una ever arrived in Midburg.
