Stolen Love

FROM DAY ONE!

It was late Friday evening and Fatima had just passed her BAR exams and was relieved from the stress of fearing whether she'd pass or not.

Her boyfriend of 3 months Chester decided that he wanted to surprise her with dinner and gifts at his high-rise condo to congratulate her.

She called him to find out his whereabouts the minute her butt hit the car seat, that would've determine if she was staying by him for the night or just cuddle up in the comfort of her own bed. She dialed numerous times along with sending him messages and got no answer. Unbeknownst to her he was at home setting up her surprise, so he wasn't paying attention to his phone.

Fatima started to get pissed off because she was ready to wash the days stress off of her and Chester wasn't responding to her calls nor answering her text messages, so she decided to go  home instead. Before she got home, she called her best friends and asked if they wanted to come over and celebrate with takeout, wine and a good movie (that was Fatima version of "chill vibes") they all agreed and hung up to get ready for a quiet night together.

Hours passed and Chester still had no sight of Fatima, so he settled on calling her to find out where she was, when he picked up his phone, he realized he had 10 missed calls and 7 text messages from Fatima trying to reach him. He took a deep sigh whiles holding his head as he dialed Fatima back.

FATIMAS POV

Whiles setting up my theater room I heard my phone vibrating before a special tune rang off and I immediately knew who it was. I paid it no mind as I continued setting up for my mini girls night. An hour later there was a knock at my door, I rushed over to answer it.  As I swung it open I saw the two most beautiful women whom I love so much... it was Daniella **(Danni, she and I have been friends since we were 4yo, our mothers were neighbors and best friends. D is also one of the TOP Psychologist here in ATL)** and Kydonna **(Ky she's a professional Photographer and Videographer we've known each other since elementary school and never left each others side since)** I greeted my girls with our usual call "DIIIVVVAAAASSS" as we all hug and greeted one another. Before we all got inside, another car pulled up and I didn't know who it was. I turned my porch light off as I watch the individual emerge out of the car, it was as if they were moving in slow motion. As Nora head pop up out of the drivers door, I started screaming..." DIIIVVVVAAAA"  ( it's been three years since Nor and I had seen each other, as well as the other girls due to the fact that Nora took a job in New York as a Philanthropist and has only seen us during our weekly group check-ins on Facetime).

As the other ladies heard what was going on they ran out of the house and greeted our friend. We headed inside to finish our greetings as everyone got a good look at each other. (Danni and Nor had planned on surprising us with her presence, it just so happened that I passed my BAR exam and arranged this girls night on the same day). As they got settled in their spots for the night they gathered their snacks, blankets, wine and glasses. Fatima also picked up the board games and cards she had stored in the closet in case the girls wanted to stray away from conversations and wanted a bit of excitement.

Fatima: Divas, so C and I have been dating for almost 4 months and it seems as if something is off, I won't say he's too good to be true but he's not fully expressing himself to me.

Nor: Off how Tima? **with a confused look on her face**

Tima: It's like he's holding something from me, but I can't put my finger on it.

Danni: Do you think maybe it's because you haven't given that man any pussy within the almost 4 months ya'll have been together?

Nor: Diva no!! 3 months???

Tima: **rolling her eyes** Danni I've been throwing this ass at him for the past 2 months and he just won't catch it. He always says "he's not ready" or "he wants us to wait a while longer" and I just respect that, Although he rejects me, his action still shows that he's into me and he treats me so well. I never have a need for anything when he's around. 

Nora: So, T do you think it's someone else?

Tima: No Nor, he shows no signs of that. He is not always on his phone or any other device he goes to work on time, comes home on time, calls me during his free time at work, his pay stub matches the hours he works in the day. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he's stepping out of this relationship.

Danni: Well T, all I can say is let time tell the truth. You might not see it now but if you feel like something is off with him, then eventually it will come to light. For now just give that nigga some pussy and yall will be okay.   

Tima: Ky you've been quiet during this conversation, are you okay?

Ky: Yes girl I am, just taking in everything you've said trying to figure it out for my self  **nervous** it really does seems off **as she looks away and turns her attention to her phone** 

Nora notices the change in Ky demeanor but chooses to address it in private.
