WATSON POV
You walked into the large building, feeling a little nervous. It was time for the annual science party but it was your first time. You weren't even a scientist last year!! You only got pressured into the new job after being fired 5 months ago for accidentally starting a fire in pizza hut and being accused of arson by the customer whos pizza you were cooking. They said you had "terrible customer service" and your boss had been super angry. And now you were stuck at this stupid science party because half of the people in your apartment were scientists and they convinced you to join them like some weird cult. But you didn't see any of them now. The room you had just entered was dark, with colorful disco lights sparkling in neon green. Everyone seemed to be talking to each other in groups except for a man who stood in the corner drinking a beaker of suspicious liquid. You slowly approached him because everybody else seemed preoccupied. "Hello,," you said shyly, and looked at the floor. He looked up, surprised, and looked into your eyes. His eyes were so shiny and beautiful "hi... im crick" he spoke softly and pointed at his name tag on a lanyard arond his neck. It said "Francis Crick" printed in comic sans. "Oh," you said "Where do you get the nametag?". You asked, suddenly aware that everybody but you was wearing these things and flushing with embarrassment. Crick lead you over to a table covered in name tags similar to the one he wore. You found your name and put it on. "So..James Watson, is it?" Crick said, looking over your shoulder where the nametag hung. "Y-yes" you mumbled. "You can just call me Watson, though." he smiled "oka-"he was interrupted by a man bumping into him. "Can you not stand right in front of the lanyard table?!" the man huffed and grabbed his own name from the pile. "JD Bernal". Crick looked frightened and backed off, but you were getting angry at this new man. What was he so rude for? "Ok dr BERBAL, I don't know what your problem is, but Crick and I aren't even doing anything wrong, so you better shut the fuck up or I'll make you" you growled, stepping forward mencingly. Dr Bernal took a step backwards and whimpered. "Yeah, that's right," you said, "Don't ever mess with me again." The man turned and raced away into the crowd of scientists. "Wow," Crick says "I didn't know you were so brave...! Anyways, I haven't seen you before at the other annual science parties. Are you new?" You smiled at him as the music suddenly got louder, and the bass shook the entire building. "Yeah, what is this place anyway? The building seemed really strange for a science party." You asked complatively. Crick laughed. "This is the Museum of Sex. We scientists sure like to have some fun." Your eyes widened. "THE MUSEUM OF SEX?!?! WHAT??" It seemed that this scientist party was unlike any scientist party you could have ever imagined. You looked up at Crick. Maybe this party wouldn't be as bad as you thought...
Just then, a woman approached the table next to you and Crick. She glided so smoothly you would think she was levitating if it weren't for the click of her heels on the hard tiled floor. Crick leaned towards you. "That's Rosy" he whispered. "She never shows me her research!!" he said sourly while rolling his eyes. The woman levitated away as she spotted you and Crick. Clearly she did not want to speak to you. "Wow" you said. "There sure are a lot of scientists here. And you know so many of them!" Crick giggled at your amazement. "Oh, really I don't know very many. Come on. Why don't we go meet some together?" he grabbed your hand and dragged you into the crowd of dancing scientists.
