Jimin's POV:

She ate the cake while standing, relishing every bite as if it were her last. Cute!
I genuinely feel awful for her, but I'll try my best to cheer her up.
I asked her, "Ma'am, do you want anything else?" in an effort to distract her from the chaos going on in her life.
I laughed as she added, "Yes Jimin, your world-class coffee, u have no idea how addicted I have become to the coffee u make."

She laughed as I shouted, "Sure Boss!" I adore everything about her, including her laugh and smile.
I prepared her a cup of coffee in the same way that I normally do. She remained still, as though deep in mindfulness.
She paused, then added, "Jimin."
I said, "Yes Ma'am?"
I felt a little ache inside because I knew what she was thinking when she questioned, "Do you think I'm a characterless woman."
"What!", She started crying as I responded, "No Ma'am, and don't ever use such harsh and hateful words for yourself.
I had no idea why she had begun sobbing.
"Ma'am, I apologize if my words caused you to feel uncomfortable..." She interrupted me as I was about to continue, by saying, "No Jimin, I'm not sobbing because of you." She wiped away her tears and continued, "It's just that u never saw anything bad in me then why does he?"
"Ma'am, it's not at all your fault. Don't cry because of him, please. Your tears are extremely precious," I murmured in an attempt to console her but was unsuccessful.
"I completely changed myself for him. I adopted the things he liked and quit those that he hate yet he still despises me. Let me know where I went wrong. Which mistake did I make that prevented me from winning his love?" she cried, her words stabbing me in the heart.

I addressed her as I went to the washbasin to wash the dishes, "Ma'am let me tell you a small story of my past." She paid attention to me and listened. "I remember I liked a girl when I was 16 or 17 years old, which was probably 10 years ago. She was quite attractive and lovely. Despite my intense affection for her, she never took me seriously and treated me like a nobody. My friends would advise me to alter my behavior to fit her manner, which I did, but it was all in vain because the day I proposed to her, she refused me and ridiculed me in front of everyone. That night, I cried so hard from embarrassment and humiliation. My grandmother asked me what had happened that evening when she entered my room. After my parents got divorced and left me, she was not only my mother and father but also my best friend. She was in charge of looking after me. She then sat on my bed and questioned why I was weeping. I cried uncontrollably while resting my head on her lap. I told her everything that happened. She smiled as she ran her hands through my hair and said something to me that I never forgot...", I was saying but then she asked me, "What was that Jimin?"
"People, she claimed, are beasts that conceal themselves under human skin. They are vicious beings that will savagely ruin your entire existence. The words she spoke astounded me. She imparted to me the life lesson that if I desire someone in my life, I should patiently wait for them rather than do actions that would make me look foolish in their eyes. If that person is meant for me, they will find me on their own. Nature will nonetheless show me indications if they are not intended for me. Additionally, she advised against ever trying to alter someone since those who genuinely love you will accept u with your flaws. Nobody in our world is flawless; we all have some shortcomings. However, there are a lot of individuals in your vicinity, and you probably aren't even aware of how deeply they love you just for who you are. They just desire your company because of who you are. We all eventually come to the realization that we should put our own happiness first before concentrating on pleasing others. We all forget that we are just like flowers. Each has a different color and scent. We are all one-of-a-kind. Just as every flower has its own admirers and is appreciated for the features it possesses, so do we. We are all unique; we possess characteristics that others do not. We are not worthless just because we are surrounded by unappreciative individuals. Ma'am, you have no idea how beautifully God created you. You are a special person. Perhaps my words are insufficient to express my admiration for your beauty but believe me when I say that your example is like a pearl that is incredibly difficult for everyone to obtain except for that one person chosen by God to send to you, I won't be wrong."

Y/n's POV:

When he spoke, his words had a certain charm. They provided pain relief for my wounds. I'm not sure why, but ever since I entered this house, I've felt quite at ease around him. Without considering him to be anything more than a servant, I confided in him about all of my problems. I suppose I'm fortunate to have met him.

"Maybe you're a rose, Jimin, because everyone loves you," I remarked with a smile.
"Perhaps I am, but not a red rose, perhaps a white rose," he chuckled. "What do you think?" he inquired.
"Well, yes, you are a white rose, and white and pink roses are my favorites. I've loved white roses since I was a child," I remarked, making him laugh.
"But I guess I'm not a rose, especially a red rose, because no one loves me, but Mathew is a red rose, right?" I inquired.
"Yes, sir, is a red rose, but one without scent," he answered, and I laughed. Then, as he approached me, he remarked, "But you are lavender." He folded his arms.
"How? I mean, what's so special about it?" I said, and his response startled me, "Well, ma'am, first and foremost, it's the scent. It's a flowery one that isn't fragrant or powerful enough to cause cerebral aches. Sweet and delicate, it calms and relaxes you. Second, I've heard in many places that lavender gives luck and charm, and that the person who loses is the unluckiest person on the globe. Purity, stillness, dedication, serenity, elegance, and peacefulness are all represented by lavender flowers. Purple is the color of royalty and also represents elegance, refinement, and luxury."

"And tell me, if you imagine white and purple together, how do you feel?" he said, which made me pause for a second before responding, "Calm, peaceful, serene, and everlasting soothing effect that relaxes your body and soul."
"Exactly, but what about red and purple?" he said, to which I answered, "Well, it's a dark combination that gives strong yet evil vibes. I've never liked the combination of red and purple," I added, causing him to smile.
"Exactly, so I guess now you understand that lavender looks better with white roses than red roses," he added, and I don't know why, but I blushed.
Despite the fact that his words had a double meaning, I ignored them and changed the subject.
"Thank you so much, Jimin, whenever I talk to you, my mind is at ease and my soul relaxes."
He grinned and continued, "Ma'am, I will always be there for you, never hesitate in talking to me." I couldn't help but smile.

After that, I went into my room while he prepared the dinner. I ate dinner at 9 p.m. and then went to bed.
