"what time is it?"

"umm about a little pass 1."

"she should be here by now."

"Dawn, be patient. The bus will be here when it gets here."

"i know but I can't wait to see her."

Dawn was as giddy as a school girl, unable to sit still on the bench she and Ash shared at the moment. Piplup was very nearly bounced out of her lap a few times due to her nervous energy, much to Pikachu's amusement. Today finds our duo at a bus station on the edge of Viridian city, waiting for the arrival of a specific bus carrying a specific friend. Gone was Brock, who decided to visit his family in Pewter city after Ash's gym battle. The Gym still didn't have a set new leader so Ash had to battle the stand-in. He was skillful and experienced but no where near as tough as the other Kanto gym leaders. Needless to say, the battle was short and decisive. It was just as the trainer was getting his Pokemon healed up at the Pokemon center when his blue hair companion received a call on her poketch; it was from May and she was coming to Viridian city. Dawn could barely contain her excitement, even as she relayed the news to Ash. He shared in her joy upon hearing that she would be coming for a visit.

Thus we find our duo at Viridian bus station, patiently waiting for the next bus to arrive. He cast a glance at the girl next to him, almost marveling at how she hasn't rocketed into the sky with all the energy she had pent up. Although he did enjoy seeing her bounced around in her seat with a hungry eye. He was suffering from withdrawal since they did not engage their normal after gym battle exercises since they both agreed to wait until May had left, as to not have to explain where they were or what they were doing.

"keep your eyes to yourself, mister," she said without casting a glance at him.

"what? I wasn't doing anything."

"yes you were. You were thinking."

"yeah. And?"

"and when you get to thinking, you start doing things to me."

Ash was flabbergasted. "I do not."

"remember the safari zone? We almost got kicked out."

"blame it on that gust of wind and your lack of panties."

"funny. Didn't hear you complaining when you were balls deep in me," she said with a confident smirk on her face, which Ash easily matched.

"woman, you know how to push the right buttons."

"just keep it in your pants until May leaves, silly boy."

"just for that, you ain't walking to the next town."

"promises, promises." she ended her statement with a quick kiss on his nose. Ash would've attacked her right then and there if the loud rumbling of the bus hadn't cut through the air. The both of them immediately shut down any and all sexual urges and thoughts in order to prepare for the arrival of their friend. The large blue bus rolled to a stop in front of the station as the brakes hissed. The announcement of the bus from lavender town rolled on the PA as the doors snapped open. The first passenger to exit was, no surprise, their coordinator friend May.

"MAY! OVER HERE!" Dawn called out. The brown haired girl turned to see her two friends standing up and waving at her. A warm smiled materialized on her face as she sprinted over to them, with Dawn taking off to met her half-way.

"Dawn! It's so good to see you!" she exclaimed as the two girls crashed into each other in a affectionate hug.

"May, I missed you!" Dawn squealed in happiness, all the while Ash walked up, shaking his head at the sight before him.
