This is a special Mother's Day book!

I hope y'all enjoy!

All hail mama hen Leo!!

~*~

Leo was in the living room doing his favorite thing, which was watching Space Heros. His ocean blue eyes were practically glued to the TV as he watched. Absolutely nothing could break his concentration.

Mikey peeked into the lair and smiled. "Good, he's distracted." He said to himself, sneaking away. He walked into the dojo where Raph and Leo were. "What's going on Mikey?" Donnie asked.

"Yeah, why'd ya tell us to meet here?" Raph added, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. Mikey smiled. "Well, Mother's Day is in a few days!" He added in a sing-song voice.

Donnie and Raph glanced at their little brother in confusion. "We don't celebrate that though, Mike..." Raph replied quietly. "Yeah, we don't have a mom..." Donnie added. Mikey just grinned.

"We may not have a mom, but you know what we do have?" He said cheerfully. "What?" Raph asked him. "A mother hen!" Mikey giggled. Donnie's eyes widened. "Leo?" Mikey nodded happily.

"Yeah! After papa died...he took care of us, he helped us train, he protected us, and he's a real mother hen! So for Mother's Day, we should celebrate our mama hen Leo!" Mikey explained.

Donnie and Raph smiled. "You know, that's not a bad idea...Leo really is a mother hen, heck, he's always been!" Raph laughed. "Exactly, we should celebrate him!" Donnie added happily.

Mikey cheered. "Great! He's distracted with Space Heros so we have time to get everything ready! It's only two days away so we need to prepare now!" They all agreed and started getting things together.

A few minutes later, Mikey was painting something, Donnie was making decorations, and Raph was helping his brothers brainstorm gift ideas for Leo. This Leo was blissfully unaware.

The brothers were working on things for about an hour. They had the door to Mikey's room closed as they were working in there. Leo suddenly knocked on the door, scaring the shells off of them.

Raph immediately hid everything under Mikey's bed. "Guys?" Leo called when no one answered the door. Mikey ran over and opened it. "Hey bro! What's up?"
"Nothing, what are you three doing?" Leo asked as the three youngest gulped.

"We're, uh..." Raph rubbed the back of his neck.

"We were just, um..." Donnie tried to think fast.

"...Drawing MLP fanart!" Mikey blurted out.

Donnie and Raph shot him a look. Leo's eyes lit up. "Ooo! Can I join? Please?" He asked excitedly. The brothers exchanged frantic glances.

"No!" They yelped a few seconds later. Leo frowned a no. "Uh, I mean, no because we were wondering if you could make us some chia tea?" Donnie lied. "Please?" He added as Leo smiled.

"Oh, sure! It's important to drink lots of fluids every day!" Leo said before walking to the kitchen. "Drawing MLP fanart? Really?" Raph muttered, glaring at Mikey.

Mikey rolled his eyes. "Well, what was I supposed to say? Picking flowers? Eating doughnuts? Fighting the Kraang?" He said sarcastically. "Let's just keep working while he's busy." Donnie replied.

Raph, Donnie, and Mikey did just that. Until Leo returned a half hour later with the tea. The bros thanked him before drinking it. They remembered to hide the Mother's Day stuff.

The next day, they continued working. It wasn't easy because every hour or so Leo would remind them to eat or drink or train. He was confused as to why his younger brothers were in Mikey's room so much.
