Later...
Larry's POV :
I sighed, sitting on a rock and lowering my head. Why was I even thinking about that Combusken? "Ugh, whatever...!" I shook my head multiple times. "It's not like I care for him anymore!"
Just then, someone poked me in my right shoulder. "H-Huh...?" I turned to see Phoebe holding some kind of a letter. "Oh? Phoebe!" I smiled. "What's up?" "Um, well..." She gave me the letter. "Leo... He told me to give this to you..." Right after hearing about 'him', I groaned in frusteration.
"Why him!?" I grunted in anger. "Why should I accept a useless letter from someone who's not even my friend!?" Just when I was about to go somewhere else, Phoebe clutched my wrist.
"Larry! Can't you see Leo's trying to make up for the things he's done wrong!?" She looked at me seriously. "Please, read the letter! At least just this once!" I stared at Phoebe. I could see desperation in her eyes...
"Fine," I grunted and decided to read it. "I'll read it," So I opened the letter and read it (The letter was shown in the last chapter of Volume 1. Not the bonus one, of course). Ugh, I knew it! It's just a useless amount of garbage! Who does he think he is, trying to boss me around by telling me to go to the headquarters!?
"This thing is useless!" I ripped the letter into pieces as Phoebe stared at it in shock. "LARRY...!!!" Suddenly, she grabbed the torn pieces and threw them at me.
"ARE YOU BLIND!? LEO HAS ONLY BEEN TRYING TO SAY SORRY TO YOU THIS WHOLE TIME, NOT TO MENTION HE EVEN MADE A LETTER!!! BUT IN RETURN, ALL YOU DID WAS REJECT IT!!!" She yelled at me and tackled me, leading me to crash into the tree.
"Wait... H-He just wanted to apologize...!?" I clutched my fist, then stared at the letter that I ripped off. What have I done, and was I even thinking...? Leo didn't want to boss me around after all...
"I'm sorry, Leo..."
Meanwhile...
Leo's POV :
"Ugh..." I groaned, sitting on a rock while tapping it. I wonder how Phoebe is doing with Larry and that letter I made... I hope there's nothing bad going on... "I shouldn't have told her to do it though..." I muttered to myself. I honestly should have went on my own...
"In the meantime, I'll try and find Izuko to apologize..." I thought of a plan to do so and went back to The Pokémon Center (By the way, Izuko and the others live in the same Pokémon Center).
Meanwhile (Again, because Wynaut?)...
Third Person's POV :
"LEO!!!" Larry, an Oshawott who was... somewhat a friend of Leo's cried, turning his head in both directions. He was feeling panicked as he wanted to apologize to his friend, however, he couldn't find him.
"Please, come out if you're here!" The Oshawott cried again. "I'm sorry, Leo! I misunderstood your letter and overreacted! I should have let you say something! So, please! Please forgive me!" But it was no use. I mean, Leo wasn't even there anyway...
"What have I done...?" He banged his head on a tree, ashamed of himself. "If I forgived him, none of this would even happen... Ugh! I can't even listen to Leo, and I called him his friend!"
But just then, the poor Oshawott thought and found out where his friend was. "Of course! The Pokémon Center!" He turned to his left which was where it was. "Why didn't I think of that!?" And so, as quickly as possible, Larry ran to The Pokémon Center...
A few moments later...
Leo's POV :
I sighed as I stared at the rather large building. "Finally, I made it to The Pokémon Center..." I panted, ready to go in from the main entrance before a certain someone arrived as we stared at each other...
"Larry...?" I muttered, staring at him in shock. "Hey, Leo..." Larry then walked towards me with his face showing... regret? "W-Well, Phoebe gave me a letter and said that you made it..." Wait, he read it? He actually... did...?
"Yeah, I did..." I answered his question anyway. "Uh, w-what about it...?" After I asked the question, there was silence. There was no sound but the wind blowing loudly. "Um..." Larry looked away.
"I'm... I'm sorry, Leo..." He muttered as I was in even more shock than before. "I should have listened to you before saying anything and instead hurt your feelings... I shouldn't have accused you as you were controlled by that Darkrai... So, sorry, I guess..."
And I slightly smiled as I replied. "Hey, I should be the one saying sorry. After all, I also hurt your feelings by saying terrible things to you," I patted my teammate in the shoulder. "So, sorry too. Do you want to be friends again...?"
"What!? Of course!" Larry grinned back. "Now, let's have another battle! What do you say!?" "Sure...!" I nodded as both of us got into our battle positions and fought...!
To be continued...
(There we go! After about a week, the second chapter of this volume is done! But, sadly, this might be the only chapter I'll publish this week because of final exams...! Also, I'm moving to another grade! Yay! Let's get to the next chapter! It will be called, "Chapter 46 - The Spirit of a Hero! (Part 1)". Strangely, Izuko, our hero, gets another strange dream! And with that, he tries to find new discoveries! What's to find out? We'll see!Goodbye!)
