The Fight

Rengoku looked at the forest swiftly. "Do you hear that?" Everything went silent, no water falling, birds chirping, not even the wind blowing it was completely silent. I jumped off of Rengoku's back and hopped onto a tree. "Thorn breathing 1st from - Nature's compass." My thorns sank into the tree and then I felt every movement of every heartbeat in a 3 km radius for 1 minute but this drains the energy. I just need to take a deep breath. The demons are alive but they're not living, so I need to find the moving objects without a heartbeat. My body gets hot and my chest goes up in flames. Breath. Farther. Longer. BREATH. 4km, 2 minutes. My eyes and body get heavy but I carry my composer and I feel a warm trickle of blood running down my nose. I CAN GO FURTHER. 5km, 2.5 minutes. MORE. 6km, 3 minutes. A smirk grew on my face. "I found you. Thorn Breathing 2nd Form - Thorn lashes - Wrap." My vines rose from the ground and wrapped around the demon. The more blood the vines consumed, the bigger my thorn grew. " Ren-Rengoku goes 5.7 km north-east from here. I'm so-." My body collapsed. Finally, I can sleep.

After Rengoku caught Y/n. He places her gently on the floor.

The energy that the thorns collect comes back to me so the thorns get stronger and I heal, the thorns take some time to heal me. Before I became unconscious I led consciousness to the thorns so I'm currently looking for my body. After the thorns covered the blood of the demon into energy all I needed to do was bring the thorns to me. This is not just a breathing style but a part of me. My thorns are coming to me as my thorns and I am one.

When my thorns lashed onto me and sunk into my veins, I felt a sharp pain, as my senses become stronger when my consciousness dims.

Rengoku

I followed the demon. I can still see the thorns poking out of the demon's body and every movement made it weaker, but something's different about this demon. This demon is stronger than any demon I've seen before. I feel a drop of rainfall from the sky, then it starts to shower.

The demon stopped moving around. The demon seems to have a smile on its face. "Don't you believe in love as a force greater than life, as even after death that love continues to live? YES, SO BEAUTIFUL, LET ME SHOW YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!"

The demon starts to blush a bright red color and hugs himself to maintain himself.

"This will not hurt me as I do not love you," I said as I drew my sword.

"Don't say that, that will make me sad." The demon pulls out a bow and one of its ribs and says "Be my Adam as my flesh is what will create our love." The demon's smile widened. I spared no time at his expense and moved closer to the long-range weapon and moving so rapidly he could not aim, but the demon had no problem keeping up with my speed. Every time it loses a rib another grows in its place.

I lunged and attacked it but it countered using its ribs when I looked closer it changed the shape of its ribs and customized it for the situation needed. He pulled out a rib but this time it was a long Saber sword with ridges at the end. "Beautiful don't you think, I'm ready for you to set my heart aflame."  I can tell the removal of his ribs was taking a toll.

I took a step back "Second Form, Rising Scorching Sun ''. I release an arching sword slash upwards. The tree we were standing on was split in half. The tree was set on fire and the carbon fog was shared. I could see the demon. It could have been that easy. Until I felt a sharp pain in my back and looked down. I found a sword through my body, Ho-how did I let this happen? "SO BEAUTIFUL!" I feel so cold, but I stand "My turn my love, DELUSION." My eyes widen as I find myself getting stabbed again and again.

Y/N

I see Rengoku getting stabbed by the demon that took me out. I need to help him. I didn't see the identity of it before but It can show delusions so I need to stay far away but I need to help Rengoku. "Dang It." I ran up the tree to help, and kept behind the tree "5th form, Nature's Vessel." My Hambrege Sword was created by the environment so its hands are mainly made up of wood, rocks, and thorns. Then, I lunged at the demon full speed and this time I closed my eyes because everything I saw was an illusion. "1st form - Nature's compass". My thorns grow on my feet and every time I step I can see everything around me, sense it. I jumped from tree to tree and then made myself visible.
