Jungkook Perspective [ PoV ]

I woke up and immediately my eyes were drawn to my sweet wife beside me. She was sleeping, her head resting on my chest, with her hair falling onto her face. I gently caressed her chubby cheeks and softly said, "Good morning, honey."

She snuggled closer to my chest and replied in a lazy voice, her eyes still closed, "Huh? It's morning already?"

"Yes, honey," I said in a gentle tone. She wrapped her hand around my waist and whispered, "I want to sleep a little longer."

"Okay, darling." I continued to caress her soft cheeks. She looked so beautiful, peaceful, and innocent while sleeping. Glancing at the clock, I realized it was only 5 o'clock in the morning.

I grabbed my phone from the side table and dialed a number. "I won't be going to the company today."

I ended the call and placed the phone back on the table. My hand once again rested on her cheeks. She snuggled even closer to my chest, her face completely hidden by her hair. I softly kissed her forehead and said, "Darling, there's a surprise."

"What is it?"

Her eyes still closed, her head resting on my chest. I smiled and replied, "Just a surprise. Now, it's time to wake up."

She opened her eyes and sat up straight. I watched her as I got out of bed and said, "Go take a shower."

"Okay, boss," she said, getting up. She took a few steps towards the bathroom, but I held her waist and pulled her closer to me. "When did I become the boss, my love?"

She pressed her forehead against mine and replied, "I don't know, Kookie, but I'm so happy that I have you in my life. Thanks to fate, we met, even if it started with a kidnapping."

"It was all meant to be," I said, placing a soft kiss on her pinkish lips. I could see tears forming in her eyes. I rested her head back on my chest and wrapped my arms around her shoulders.

"Don't get too emotional, my darling," I laughed when she playfully punched my chest with her delicate fist. I let her go and said, "Hey, go and take your bath."

"Yeah, okay," she ran towards the bathroom. I laughed at her adorable behavior and walked to the closet to find my clothes.

I took a shower in another room and quickly returned to our bedroom. I stood silently by the window, gazing at the sky. It amazed me how quickly the months had passed. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

She came out of the bathroom and walked silently towards me. "Let's go," she said.

I held her hand and led her outside. She looked like a beautiful fairy. I sat in the car with her and drove towards the airport.

"What's wrong? You look tired," she leaned her head on my shoulder and hummed with closed eyes. She had been feeling quite lazy lately.

"Darling!" I called her, sounding slightly annoyed. She flinched and hurriedly closed her phone. Nodding, she replied, "Nothing."

I walked away in anger. Finally, we were both sitting in our seats on the plane. She kept checking her phone every minute. Frustrated, I snatched her phone from her hand and threatened, "I'll throw your phone out of the airplane if you don't stop."

"I'm sorry, but please give me my phone back," she pleaded, snatching it away from me. She then leaned her head on my shoulder and said, "Kookie."

"Yeah?" I wrapped my arm around her shoulders.

"You're always so busy with work. I miss my Kookie," she said, lowering her head. I lifted her chin up so that our eyes met.

"I miss my dumbo too," I smiled at her, and she playfully hit my chest before closing her eyes.
