What Lu Wanwan was more curious about was where Shen Yi had gotten this necklace from. Did all fakes look so authentic now?

If it wasn't for the fact that Shen Yi was broke, Lu Wanwan's pair of discerning eyes would have been fooled.

With the desk lamp turned off, there was little light in the room.

Shen Yi was a vigorous and healthy man. Even if his usual behavior was alike someone pure of heart and soul, but come night, he would inevitably want to do some things to her.

The slightly cold fingers gently squeezed her thin waist and gradually went from her belly upward. Lu Wanwan stiffened, remembering a few not-so-good memories.

Shen Yi, this person, had always been very vicious in bed. He always liked to say some very dirty words in her ear, once they were at it, he would do it for a very long time and if she didn't shed a few tears in the process, this person simply would not stop.

All of his worst tendencies manifested themselves at night.

Lu Wanwan pushed his hand away and said softly, "I'm tired."

Shen Yi froze, "Okay."

All the movements of his hands stopped and he obediently laid down on her side.

That night, Lu Wanwan dreamed again of a memory. That was most probably during the first time she transmigrated inside the book, when she was dedicated to please him.

The skinny teenager was wearing a school uniform and had a bruise on the corner of his forehead. She didn't know who beat him, but he was down on the ground, looking wretched and pitiful.

She squatted in front of him, her eyes full of sincerity, " I will take you to the hospital to have a check."

The cold teenager raised his eyes, his pair of dark eyes more tranquil than stagnant water. The youth spat out one word, which he said with immense clarity: "Scram."

Shen Yi had always been silent and taciturn, harmless and well-behaved, so later on Lu Wanwan had really not been expecting him to lock her up.

And that he would lock her up for more than a decade at that.

At that time, Shen Yi was already no longer quite sane. He was hugging her very tightly, gently brushing her hair around her ears and kissing her brow. In a daze, he asked, "Didn't you say you would always be good to me?"

"Didn't you say you would only be nice to me?"

She opened her mouth and felt that her throat was aching very painfully, oh, right, that was called being dumb.

Shen Yi smiled. The smile hanging on his lips was very innocent: "Then why do you smile at them? In your eyes, I'm the same as them, right?"

"I know you don't like me."

"But it's okay, it's enough as long as you stay by my side."

Lu Wanwan felt like there was no solution, no way to interact with a psychopath. Some of those people he spoke about were her colleagues, others were her friends.

But it seemed that Shen Yi couldn't tolerate a single one of them.

Her whole body was trembling with fear while the man holding her tightly was soothing her very gently. The words that came out of his mouth were so very harsh, yet he used the softest tone, coaxing her, "Don't be afraid, just always stay home and be a good girl."

The next morning when she woke up, her hair was slightly wet from the sweat.

After a long time, Lu Wanwan came back to her senses and got up to wash up.
