TAYLOR held her phone in her one hand , holding tears behind her eyes. today was the day of her nineteenth party , and her boyfriend just broke up with her. her phone screen was locked on the message he had sent her. it was simple , just a quick sorry it's not you , it's me.

what an asshole she thought to herself. part of her wanted to cancel her party.  and just cry. but she told herself that he wasn't going to make her cry on her birthday. she was officially nineteen. and it was her party.

TAYLOR sat in her room , as she held her dress in hand. she lightly picked up the dress and held it to her body , she smiled and twirled. she told herself that tonight was about her. nor matt or anyone would make her cry.
the time was 7:47pm , her party was at 8. people should be showing up at any moment now.
" here goes nothing." she whispered under her breath , and she brushed her fingers through her hair once more before heading downstairs. moments later a knock at the door startled her. the door was opened and in came lynn and chris. lynn walked up to the girl and smiled , bringing her in for a tight hug.
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL." she smiled.
chris quickly gave the girl a warm hug and wished her happy birthday before walking off.
taylor and lynn sat in the hallway waiting for more people to show up. not even 5 minutes later xanel and nathan showed up. they both quickly wished taylor a happy birthday and made thier way inside the house. lynn and taylor started talking about the whole situation.
" yeah chris told me everything in the car. what an asshole." lynn still in disbelief.
" yeah , but it's whatever." the girl replied with a sad laced voice. lynn dropped the conversation and followed taylor into the room with everyone.

EVERYONE was having a blast , as nick wiped the tears from his eyes from laughing so hard. the girl almost had forgotten the events prior. that was until the door swung open and matt walked hand in hand with a girl into the party. it grew silent , as taylor examined the girl in confusion. lynn quickly stood up , chris following her.
" what the fuck are you doing here." her voice was full of anger , as she stepped towards matthew.
" im still invited you know." he simple remarked holding "judys" hand tighter.
a loud scoff could be heard coming from chris.
" the fuck you are." he says as he goes to grab his shoulder and excourt him out. taylor quickly noticed how judy was wearing his ring. chris mumbled something from under his breath as he roughly tried to get matt to leave. lynn stepped forward after matthew spoke a comment. gasps could be heard coming from the room.  matts hand whipped to his face , where a red handprint was now visuable.
" if you don't want a black eye , I consider you leave." chris says opening the door , matt rolls his eyes as him and Judy leave. everyone's eyes drift to taylor who was know crying. lynn quickly walked over to the girl , as she mumbled to her.
" oh what a birthday surprise. Judy's wearing his ring." taylor says leaving the room and heading upstairs.
