Stranded

Chapter 2

The next day I got out of bed and put a rock in the bucket. I knew I couldn't stay in this cabin long because it didn't look abandoned but I wasn't sure how anyone would have gotten onto the island. I decided to go for a little adventure to see what was nearby so I packed up the little stuff I had and went for a walk. I found some coconuts, some berries, and some beautiful flowers.
When I started walking back to the cabin I heard crackling under a bush but I didn't think much of it because it could be a small animal. A few moments later I started hearing faint footsteps behind me and I whipped my head around and I saw a boy.
For a moment I was stunned I didn't know what to do.
Should I fight him or should I talk to him. If I tried to fight him I would lose but he also looked like he has been beaten up and needed to go to the hospital. I though I could take him but I wasn't going to fight this boy he could help me survive. I decided to take to him instead.
"Hello why are you following me? Who are you?" I said.
"I'm Caden and when I saw you I thought you might know your way around this place and be able to help me." He replied
Shoot we both don't know a way out of here! He is in a worse condition than me and I must help him because I'm not just going to leave him here. Taking him in might be risky.
"How did you get here" I shouted to him
"I was on my way back home and my plane crashed" he shouted back
"Come here I have a cabin near the crash site and we can stay there for a little" I said as he started to walk towards me.
"Thank you so much! Wait!" He stopped walking "you're not gonna try to kill me right?" He said
"Only if you don't try to kill me" I replied
As we were making our way beck to the cabin we had to walk by the crash, we both saw our dead parents and we walked back to the cabin silently.
