       "Brian", she called out softly when she saw that Brian O'Neal walking in our direction. She looked down shyly as if she dared not meet his eyes as she smiled coquettishly at him. He came over, patted her head like you would a pet and asked her how she was doing while giving her a smile that belong on a pervert. It scared me. All the girls immediately gathered around them and started to praise them, calling them the perfect couple and talking about how they were meant to be. Stephanie immediately said;

        "Only a girl like our Amanda deserves to be with our brother Brian not some wild chicken from a low class family". I knew she was referring to me, after all, she hated me more out of the two sisters. Amanda, who had already inched closer to Brian and held onto his arm so tight that you would think he was about to disappear, shot me a smug look of victory. All the girls around nodded or grunted their approval of her words.

         Before Amanda had showed up in the Lucas Family and I was till their daughter, Brian had been my childhood playmate and the man I was engaged to. Our parents are business partners and mostly invested in each other's businesses and because of that, the Lucas's and The O'Neal's had shares in each other's companies. The adults had arranged our engagement from a very young age hence we did everything together until the truth came out.

         When it was found out that I wasn't a Lucas, I thought the one thing that won't change was him, since we spent so much time dating each other and I felt that he would still love me in spite of everything. I was wrong. The day the truth came out, I had gone straight to the O'Neal mansion to see him in hopes of getting some comfort or reassurance from him, after all he was at least my bestfriend. But instead he had broken up with me the instant he saw my face, completely disregarding my feelings.

         He told me how he was with me only because I was a Lucas, Not because he loved me, about how he was meant to marry their biological daughter not some wild chicken taken home by mistake. Long story short, he got together with Amanda the moment she was brought back to the family.
