Castiel breathes in slightly as they stood outside of John's room.
"Are you sure we should tell him Dean?"
"It will be fine Cas. Just follow me." Dean knocks on the door and bites his lip as he heard his fathers feet drag along the floor. The door opens and Dean was able to see his father, the hunter looked tired but awake at the same time. God knows how he was able to do that.
"Um.. dad we have something to tell you.." Dean grabs onto Castiel's wrist and pulls him a little closer to himself.
"Me and cas are.. together.." John's eyes widened slightly.
"What do you mean by that Dean."
"I mean like... together together." Dean can't look at his father's eyes, he's too nervous. John looks at him confused but then he understands what's going on.
"I'm not gonna allow that" he screams at dean with anger and disappointment. Cass looks at his boyfriend confused, he doesn't understand why John is angry. Dean glances back up at John and let Castiel go.
"But dad I love him-"
"It's wrong to love someone the same gender as you!"
"But Cas is an angel, he doesn't have a-"
"His vessel is male is it not?!" Castiel pans his head to John.
"I fail to see why-" John goes to hit Castiel for interrupting him but Dean quickly stops him.
"Dad! What the hell!"
"Don't talk to me like that!" John's eyes fill with hatered as he smacks his hand across Dean's face.
"I'm so dissapointed with you!" John lifts his arm and goes to strike again but something grabs his wrist, stopping him from hitting Dean.
"Touch him like that again and it will be the last thing you do." John jerked at the cold voice next to him. He turned his head towards the angel and shuttered at the glare he gave him. John knew then and there something had to be done. And he was going to be the one to fix it.

That night when everyone was asleep John went out with his plan. A mysterious grin streached across his face as he creeped into Dean's room. He was surprised when Castiel wasn't there, knowing how clingy those two seemed. He slowly walked over to Dean to check if he was asleep and tapped him lightly on the shoulder to make sure. Once he was certain Dean was out he slowly left the room to find Castiel. An angel blade hid up his sleeve.

Castiel sat in the main room with his head in his hands. He was usually able to tune out the angel raido but ever since hunters have been killing angels non-stop he just couldn't stop the voices. He wished he could tell Dean about it but he didn't want the hunter to worry about him more than he already does. He didn't even hear the footsteps enter the room. Once he did notice however it was too late. A vase was thrown his direction and he had no time to doge. It's smashed over his head, makeing him fall over and his head to start bleeding. Cas quickly tried to stand up but John was quicker. He lunges onto Cas with the blade now in his hand. He gets dangerously close to the angels chest before his wrist was grabbed. Castiel grunted as he used as much strength as he could to push the blade away but it kept getting closer.
"John. What are you doing?" He was barely able to focus his eyes on the hunter as his head throbbed, and the voices won't shut up. Why can't he heal himself?
"Dean needs to learn what happens if he gets a boyfriend instead of a girlfriend." Cas panics as the blade gets very close to cutting his skin.
"Dad!?" Two voices yelled from the side of them. The angel felt a sort of relief at the sound of Sam and deans voice.
"Stay out of this boys." John pushed on the blade again but this time with both of his hands. Dean watched in horror as the blade started to sink into his boyfriends chest. He couldn't just stand and watch this. He had to do something. Dean quickly ran to his dad and tackled him off Cas. Sam was quick to help his brother. He runs over to John and snaches the blade off him.
"Dad I think you need to leave." John glared at his two children towering over him.
"Whatever." John stood up and grabs onto Dean's shirt.
"I never want to see you or this creature again."
"Just leave." John shoves Dean away and walks out the bunker. Not even looking back.

Castiel stared at the ceiling. The voices were just getting louder. His head was throbbing more. To be honest he wished John finished the job. Then he wouldn't have to feel like this. He jerked as he felt a hand on his chest, applying pressure on the wound.
"Hey Cas... Can you hear me?" Dean was trying to get his angel to talk. But all he got was a slight nod. But that was enough.
"Ok Cass.. were gonna help you with these wounds, ok?" Once again all he got for an answer was a slight nod.
"Ok.. Sammy help me with this."

~an hour later~
Dean paced back and forth while Sam held a damp rag on Castiel's head, to hopefully help with the headache. The younger Winchester glanced over at his brother.
"Dean can you stop paceing."
"Why? Why should I stop?! My dad just tried to kill Cas!" Sam bit his lip as he stood up.
"I know.. but paceing isn't going to help ether of us Dean. Please just sit down."
"Dean?" Both of the Winchesters heads turned to Castiel. The angel was still starring at the ceiling.
"Yea Cas?" He voice broke slightly out of anger.
"I can't heal myself."
"I-I know Cas. We will take care of you ok?" Castiel eyes filled with tears as he slowly glanced over at Dean after takeing the rag off his head.
"Dean, I'm no angel."
