Background Information: Grace Lewis is the adoptive daughter of WOOHP director, Jerry Lewis and the adoptive niece of the villainous Terrence and Sherry Lewis. She is known as a beautiful, rational, and easy-going young girl, who wishes to fight to save the day.

As a young man, Jerry went to investigate one of the criminal attacks that had ravaged a small town. In the midst of the debris, a little girl, who was looking at the ruins of the building, stood there sobbing.

He told her she would be safe and asked where her parents were. But, she could only point to the now destroyed building, before bursting into tears.

Jerry then consoled the girl and took her with him. For a while, the girl, Grace, turned out to have spy genes within her.

She was able to steal things without getting caught, solve very difficult puzzles, and complete the complex WOOHP training course in record time. Seeing potential within Grace, Jerry decided to adopt the poor girl and immediately enlisted her for WOOHP.

Upon learning about the Clark's, Jerry enrolled Grace to attend the school they go to in order to observe then befriend them. Once they go through the trials and get recruited by WOOHP, Grace decides to join the Clark brothers to form their own team.

Like Jessica Wilson (main character of Totally Spies! book), Grace is more times than not the "damsel in distress", where she gets kidnapped by the villains. Luckily, she does manage to escape from time to time and hold her own without the boy's need to rescue her.
