Chapter 5

Over time Shawn hasn't heard from Cameron for a while and he was trying to talk to him. Shawn talked to Camila about it and even though she was worried about him, it was not normal for him not to respond to Shawn back. And there is a reason that Cameron had feelings for him and when he saw that Shawn and Camila were together his heart was broken. He didn't have the chance to make a move and tell Shawn

Camila texted Cameron to see if he is okay and it didn't take him long to text her back saying that he was doing well and not to worry Camila told him that Shawn is trying to reach him and Cameron said that he has been busy with family and he will text Shawn later

"Cameron says that he's been busy but he will text you later" Shawn was fine with that and waited for him to text back. They went out and did some stuff, then the both of them were thinking about getting a dog together and they went to get a puppy. It was a Golden Retriever pup and they named him Tarzan and then posted it on Instagram. Cameron saw that post that night and didn't even text him a lot, he didn't want to talk to him ever again because of the jealousy that he is with Camila and not him

Weeks went by and Shawn has to be able to hold off Cameron "Why is he not talking or texting me back, I would text him a couple of times a week to see how is he doing," Camila asked Shawn if there is a reason that Cameron wouldn't talk to him and there is a reason why but Shawn doesn't want Camila to know that Cam has a big crush on him "Honestly I don't know why he not talking to me"

2 years have gone by, on November 17th, 2021 Shawn Mendes and Camila their "romance" relationship ended. They wanted to stay as friends but some rumors are going around that Shawn might be coming out as gay and that he came out to Camila at the time of the breakup, he has been trying to stop all rumors. In the days after the break up with her, there is a text from Cameron for the first time in 2 almost years of not talking to him "Hey Shawn, I hope you're doing okay I know about the breakup. If you want to hang out tonight just like I know"

Shawn texted him right away about tonight and brought some beer with him to his place. He is going to Cameron's house at around 7:30 pm and Shawn was getting scared about this meeting up because of the rumors and doesn't want them to get worse but he went up there any way at 7:30 pm like Shawn promised and had a beer with him, they both talked for hours

Then he brought up the question "Why did you stop texting me? Was it from the last time we talked" Cameron has told him some things and he still has feelings for him to this day but at the same time Cameron didn't want to ruin the relationship between Shawn and Camila's romantic relationship

So Cam kept his distance from them and wanted to see them happy, the both of them talked about their feelings for each other and nothing isn't going anywhere for Cameron. It was getting cold outside. They both went inside and went to Cameron's room and listened to music then "hang out together" He played some songs that Cameron wrote and Shawn loved all of his songs, they talked about writing a song together soon and that would be a dream "Do you want another beer dude?" Shawn doesn't want to drink too much because he has to drive home

"No thanks dude, I have to drive home," Cameron told him to stay the night at his place Shawn didn't want to stay at first then he decided to stay for the night and only 1 night then so Shawn had another beer with him then talked some more and more until they got super drunk. But both of them got close to each other, they were touching knees at this point

Shawn and Cameron were so close that they could kiss but there were butterflies in his stomach and Shawn moved away. Cameron stopped Shawn from moving away from him then pull Shawn closer and kissed Shawn on the lips tenderly, the kiss was getting longer and longer by the minute then they moved to the bed and Cameron turned the lights went off

It went dark and the only light that was coming in was the moonlight in the room. Cameron knew that his family was out of town for the week than knowing that they wouldn't find out about him and Shawn having sex for the first time. They started out kissing for a little while then Cameron slowly got off Shawn’s shirt

Shawn started taking off Cam’s pants and the kissing started again but then the both of them heard the front door open and it was Cam’s parents who came home early from their trip “I thought you said they were out of town?! What the fuck!” They both got out of bed “So did I, I didn’t know they were coming home early” and got their clothes back on then Cameron turned the lights back on and acted as nothing happened. Cameron told Shawn to stay in the room and he went downstairs to greet them “Mum? Dad? What are you guys doing home so early?!” They said that the event that they were going to, ended up being canceled because of covid and so they came home and had a BBQ “Hey! Cam, you should ask Shawn to come over for dinner tomorrow”

He got a little weird and started laughing “I will do that right now!” went upstairs to see Shawn but when Cameron got to his room he wasn’t there “Shawn?” Cam quietly called him a few times but nothing he looked at his window and it was open. Shawn climbed out of the window and so he texted him

“Hey, where did you go?” There was no answer and he didn't respond until the next morning “Hi there Cam, sorry I didn’t respond last night or even stay. I just needed to go and think about everything” They talked about what happened last night and how the both of them were shocked that they started to have sex then got ended so soon because of Cameron’s parents coming home early from their trip and the reason was that it’s canceled the cause of covid “Dude I just want to be friends with you no more than that, I’m into women. I'm a sorry man anyway I have to go okay I will talk to you later”

That was the very last text from Shawn and after that Cameron was trying to move on and then not think about it then time went on. He started dating a beautiful and sweet girl on top of that he is spending some time with his family and close friends, Shawn was focusing on his fans and he is going on tour soon for his album Wonder, than not think about the break up with Camila and positive mind

Then there was the thing with Cameron that never has gone from the back of his mind but trying his best to not think about it but he can’t make it go away, Shawn needed some closure. The thing is that he is not ready to talk to Cameron not right and wait until he is ready
