On July 25th 1980 a baby girl by the name of Samantha Violetta Nightshade was born to loving parents that couldn't keep her. The baby was born through a surrogate mother who, unfortunately, died in childbirth leaving the child to her rightful parents. The two men knew of their destiny and with one already gravely ill, they left the child at a small orphanage in Great Britain when she was a month old. They watched over her as they continued to go through their everyday life and doing things that their child would one day come to resent them for.
The child was adopted when she was a year old by Remus J. Lupin and the couple felt that they could finally be at ease with their lives. That is, until October 31st 1981 when he-who-must-not-be-named was supposedly defeated and he'd killed both James and Lily Potter leaving Harry as an orphan. The couple instantly fled back to their home country with their kind and rarely ventured back out to the world they once knew. In 1994 half of the couple passed away leaving the other to mourn and wish that they still had the child who they'd given up years prior.
But all he could do was wait and hope that his child was doing better than he had.
