(A/N) So basically this is going to be in modern times with flashbacks to before HYDRA. Almost like real time getting your memories back. Enjoy!

My alarm starts to go off on my phone. I roll over to turn it off and groan. I hate Mondays. Especially at 7 am. I get up out of bed and can hear dad out in the kitchen. Probably making breakfast for us.

When I walk out he turns around smiling. But his smile drops a little when he gets a good look at my face. "You don't look great. Are you sick?" Bucky asks. He looks worried. I don't like when he worries. So I smile and shake your head no.

"Just tired," I say still smiling. Bucky takes me in and eventually nods. But I know he doesn't believe you. But I won't tell him the truth. That I had another nightmare about my time in HYDRA. While the memories about my live before HYDRA are few and very far between, memories about those horrible decades remain fresh. But never during the day.

After breakfast I help dad put the dishes away and got ready for school. I was looking forward to seeing your friends at school, even though I hung out with Peter and Ned on Saturday, and MJ on Sunday. But I was always looking forward to seeing my friends. It had been so long since I had meaningful relationships.

**time skip cause idk what else to put in this scene**

"...and that's why I think Mr. Stark should let me come with him," Peter was finishing a story. It was now lunchtime and I were sitting with your friends. Well, I was sitting with Ned and Peter. MJ was sitting on the other side of the table.

"But.. you're a kid," Ned replied. " You still don't know what to do."

"Yeah but this is a chance to learn!"

Ned and MJ didn't know exactly what Peter was talking about but I did. It was a mission to a decommissioned HYDRA base. One that the Avengers believed me and Dad were kept at. The one you had a nightmare about last night. (Though they do know his status as an Avenger).

"(Y/N)?" Peter asked. I look up. Both boys were looking at me.

"Sorry. What did you say?"

"I asked what you thought about Mr. Stark not letting me go."

"Oh. I think it's probably a good idea. He's not letting me go either," I shrugged. I wanted to act disappointed about it, but I couldn't really be.

"Oh that's a shame. Well maybe we can go in the next mission together," Peter smiled. I couldn't help but to smile back.

"Get a room you two!" MJ from the other end of the table. I threw my napkin at her. The bell rung and you all got up to go to class. I had math with MJ and Ned and Peter had English.

After throwing my trash away, I felt a hand grab your arm from behind. I panicked a tiny bit and whipped around. It was just Peter.

"Whoa, hey. Just me," he smiled again. He had a sweet smile, I noted. I grinned apologetically at him. "I just wanted to ask if you were ok. You seemed spacey during lunch. And during chemistry this morning."

I didn't want to tell him about your nightmare. He knew about your time in HYDRA, as did MJ and Ned. They also knew when I was really born, even though I told people your birthday was in 2001. It was really 1933. I kept the same day though. May 13th.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just tired. I was up late doing homework." It wasn't a total lie. I did do homework once I realized you couldn't go back to sleep.

Peter accepted this explanation. "Ok, we'll see you after school?"

I nod. "See you after school, Pete." We both smile again. Why did he have to be so cute?
