Maggie and Carly were in the car as they were driving to their new apartment. They had their windows down feeling the nice California warm weather. "Are you excited about our new life?" Maggie looking at her daughter as Carly smiled giving her mother a nod. "I just wonder if both of us will find someone here." Maggie smiled at her daughter about to say something when she saw their apartment. She parked the car in front when getting out she saw another mother with her son grabbing their things out of the trunk. She walked over to them and said, "Hi, I'm Maggie Kreese and back there is my daughter Carly Kreese. Are you 2 moving as well?" The other mother nodded shaking Maggies hand and said, "Yes, I'm Lucille LaRusso and this is my son Daniel." Daniel waved over to Carly as she waved back.
"I'm very excited that we met you and maybe we can help each other." Maggie said as Lucille smiled grabbing the box and said, "Where do you 2 live?" Maggie grabbing her box and said, "Apartment 8." Lucille having the biggest smile said, "How great is that. We'll be super close neighbors then." Maggie smiled as Daniel and Carly were talking telling each other everything when Daniel slammed into a boy and Carly gasped in shock running to Daniel.
Daniel walked over to the boy and said, "Hey man, I am so so sorry. I wasn't paying attention we just moved here." The boy nodded and said, "That's fine. I'm Freddy by the way. I live in apartment 1. Who are you and where y'all live?" Daniel smiled and shaking Freddy's hand said, "I'm Daniel LaRusso and I'm in 7." Carly waved as she said, "I'm Carly Kreese and I'm in 8." Freddy nodded grabbing some of Carly's and Daniels things helping them out. As they headed to their rooms Freddy said, "Tonight is a beach party if the 2 of you would like to come. It's the end of the summer bash and it's gonna be wicked."
Daniel and Carly looked at each other but shrugged.
As Lucille and Maggie were talking about their lives and their jobs Lucille then asked, "Where is Carly going to school?" Maggie smiled and said, "West Point High." Lucille smiled and said, "That's where Daniel is going. Maybe we can carpool everyday." Maggie nodded as the kids walked in and explained what had happened the last few minutes.
