This will be a HI3 × Reader modern au crackfic/chatfic. Making this since the main story ain't doing the characters justice aside from MiHoYo main bbgrls (don't come at me lmao, I love them too but I believe the others in HI3rd deserves better and justice IMO)
This isn't supposed to be intended to be that serious but my mind went blank and how here we are! Hah, here's a rundown.

for clarification, everyone who suffered in HI3rd Main timeline or died there will be alive here, their toxic traits and habits or fun quirk of theirs- everyone possess before will still be here tho it will be greatly decreased and most of the fcked up characters or at least what they've done, (*ex, things Mobius and Dr. MEI, Otto, Schicksal did before will only be and remain dark secrets and just overall thoughts, the character doesn't actually execute the plans due to having no need to as the Honkai doesn't exist anymore in this Modern au, overall, everyone's alive, not too happy, but oh they've alive, just desperately need love, validation and deep ass therapy tbh, no actual death will be here, any important major changing figure, traumatizing event, serious problems, Otto's actions and FIRE MOTH actions doesn't happen and stated once more, Honkai does not exist. Hence, a redemption, second chance, reincarnation of sort of all characters in Honkai Impact who have suffered, which is like- 94% of the cast but oh- it's MiHoYo afterall-

While there won't be anything like that, it's only for the first arc, I think second arc will have some serious stuff, don't worry tho, nobody here will die again, just tr∆uma unleashing and help wanted which they got, overall some serious stuff the cast will have time with you which will grow and make you guys have a deeper bond, yes, what they've experienced will still linger and have the same backstory as they did before, just that there will be some minor/major changes due to the Honkai and Otto's/Schicksal/FIRE MOTH actions not actually happening

While others could have jobs like how they are in HI3rd, it does change for some.. Ex, Schicksal still exist, instead of combating the Honkai tho, they are a worldwide major organization and have intense history in the business/working industry still being the most successful organization even during modern times.

The 3 houses are very big and major in both the business industry and Schicksal, they are names who hailed from the household and also have their own department for those who come from the 3 main houses in Schicksal. Kaslana's are usually the one keeping the organization in place, having usually the most power only below the Apocalypse. Schariac are those who tends to vary, they do have large female members who received all kinds of praises for their work and talents and strong determination and will, Most in the Schariac "household" aren't all blood related, they are merely given the last name when seen worthy by the Overseer.
