I needed to call Mum about this, I brought out my phone and looked for her in my Contacts
''mum''
It now or never I guess
I clicked on her name and waited for her to pick up
And after what seems like decades she finally picked up
"Hey honey" mum said through the other line
I cringed a little
'' mum what have I said about the name" I said
"Oh sorry about that Mai" she said
"I needed to get straight to the point"
"Mum you know that summer vacation is coming up right" she said
"You know I know that"
"Well I was wondering if me and Ai could come over"
She gasped at the other line
"of course you can " she was practically Screaming by now
"Ok mum I'll tell Ai you said yes"
"Alright Mai bye"
"Bye mum"
I hanged up as I looked up to see my twin sister lying on her bed she looked asleep i smiled
I walked over to her bed and sat down ,I looked over to her sleeping face
"If only she wasn't so weak"
I began to remember the years I've protected her from preschool to college
I was about to get up when I felt a tug I looked over and saw Ai tugging on my arm, she looked desperate
"What is it" I said
"Can you sleep with me tonight" she said I sighed
"Fine you big baby" I said getting in bed with her,she snuggled close to me,and I wrapped my arms around her
"Goodnight Mai" she yawned before finally going to sleep
"Goodnight Ai" I whispered before finally going to sleep
