+CHAPTER THREE+

Sick af!!!!!

"Shit!" The dark haired woman cussed loudly as she jumped up from her sleep....she had been too comfortable and had forgotten all she was to plan for the day.

She checked the time and the day wasn't on her side anymore hence she rushed into her bathroom to process her grooming routine.

This wasn't like any other day she'd taken off work, this was  to make it up to someone she stood up the other night but instead got way too deep into resting it almost made her late

She managed to speed up the process a bit and was able to finish up with leftover time.
What was left was to make plans and that entailed calling her manager to put her plan to work.

The device in her hands rang twice before the person on the other line picked it up.

"Hey Ruth!"Her voice didn't come out exactly excited nor annoyed but it was in between.

"Uhmm..Miss-" the puzzled manager proceeded but was cut off by her all too formal boss

"Cut the formalities, I need your help" the other woman's eyebrows quirked up in confusion. Her boss had never been one to speak many words less even communicate and even as her manager the only conversations they'd have has been formal.
The manager kept quite waiting for her boss to tell her it was a butt dial.

"Are you still there?" She asked again the realization dawning upon Ruth that it wasn't a butt dial.

"Yes, how may I help miss?" She tilted her head in thoughts and after forming a suitable reply she spoke....

"See, I need you to make a reservation for two in a very high rated restaurant, 5 star to be precise then forward the details to me" she had never really done this before, the other dates she'd take Aeila she would pick the location herself but this time she wanted something out of her recommendation simply because she thought the girl deserved it.

"Okay on it! Is that all ma'am? " Ruth asked since her boss had gone quite.

"Yes that would be all for now, thanks!"She cut the call her mind wondering to what else she could do to make the night special.

An idea struck into her mind and a very naughty one at that she would give the girl the night of her life after the dinner!

She didn't really put a label on whatever they were doing to her it was just a go with the flow thing and since the other girl didn't mind she was okay with it as well.....there were other times she would wonder why the girl hadn't cut off whatever they had, Aeila was beautiful, to her ethereal infact!

She could get as much women as she desired but she knew the girl doubted herself a lot and throughout their whole ordeal she had made sure to make her feel special though she failed at times as she'd miss their dates, be off for days but this didn't push Aeila away which she appreciated her a lot for.

The relationship was actually an agreement on sexual basis but later on it developed into something like a little mutualism.

Sure the woman had been in a lot of different relationships but they never really worked so when she met Aeila, she made it clear to her that there were no strings attached.

She'd seen Aeila's face fall many times and only wondered why, it was a mutual agreement.

The woman was about to get dressed for something suiting for the evening when she received another call, she was tempted to ignore the call but decided against it since it could be anything important.

She accepted the phone and leaned it on her right ear...

"Rayy bae!!" A voice screeching enough to break the grand church glass sounded from the other line, Raven had to pull the phone a few inches away for her ear so as not to be deafened.

Then it struck her! It was her never dying love...... The one she was literally getting engaged to, her heart did a triple beat but not for good.

"Raven!! Why aren't you answering me? " The person on the other line spoke again.

She so badly wanted to cut the call and probably the engagement too but she knew she just couldn't do it there were too many conditions attached to it and she couldn't risk it.

"Alexa...how are you doing?" Raven asked not really meaning to.

"Oh I'm good, Ray. I was just wondering why you've refused to keep in touch" Raven rolled her eyes, it was like the other girl didn't get it.
She didn't want anything to do with Alexa and had obviously been dropping subtle hints but the girl never for once understood but kept trying.

Raven was already wondering if the girl was just ignoring the red flags.

"I've just been busy with work, I guess" she drew out another forced reply.

"We are getting engaged Ray, we need to spend some more time together and you know that!" She kept silent....

"I was just calling to let you know, you need to put more effort." Alexa spoke again.

This was exactly why Raven kept quite, she knew that no matter what her opinion was Alexa's opinion overruled it.

"Yh I'll do that"

"Please come see me, I miss you!" The words that rolled out of her mouth felt like poison to Raven's ears....she had only agreed to put up with her and not all this.

"If I ever get less busy I'll try to come" Raven couldn't believe she said that, she would never go to Alexa and she meant it!

"Okay honey! Take care of yourself...byee" she had never felt a bigger urge to gag, she was playing her part too good.

"Hmm bye" Raven hung up before the girl said any other thing. She dropped the phone and sighed in relief.

Soon after a pang of guilt struck her chest, she felt way too bad thinking of Aeila.

Sure she wanted the girl in her life and she didn't want to let the girl go but the question she couldn't answer herself was why!?

Raven knew Aeila deserved the moon and back, she felt like she was betraying the other girl but they weren't exactly in a relationship....then she realized she was probably cheating on Alexa, her life was a shitty mess she thought.

The thought of Aeila with any other person made her feel disgusted, she couldn't even bare imagining another person making her laugh or touching her in ways she specially liked.

Raven was more than confused, her engagement with Alexa was in less that 5 months and she doesn't want to end things with Aeila.

She couldn't even bare seeing the girl in pain and her causing it would crush her heart a lot.

The feelings felt quite foreign to the woman but she pushed all of the thoughts to the back of her head.

What she had planned for the girl filled her thoughts...Raven could only imagine how Aeila would light up.

The girl did deserve it after all.
