Chapter 2 (unfinished chapter)

"clan meeting" Treestar called, jumping onto the highrock.
It was a few moons since Midnightkit had been out of camp and now he was going to become a medicine cat apprentice.
"Today we gather here to name to new apprentices. Midnightkit and Amberkit come forwards"she meowed.
They both stepped forwards, but Midnightkit was more nervous.
"Midnightkit from this day forward, untill he gets his medicine cat name this apprentice will be called Midnightpaw" Treestar yowled.
"Midnightpaw, Midnightpaw, Midnightpaw" the clan cheered.
He felt a new burst of energy surge through him at the thought of finally being a medicine cat apprentice.
"Lionfeather" Treestar meowed,"you are ready for your first apprentice. You will train Midnightpaw. I know you will pass your skills onto this apprentice"
Lionfeather stepped forward to Midnightpaw and touched him on the nose.

"And Amberkit, until you get your warrior name you will be called Amberpaw and your mentor will be Yarrowtail" she meowed.
"Amberpaw, Amberpaw" the whole clan cheered, except from Lionfeather.

"Let's start your training" Yarrowtail meowed to Amberpaw.
"When will I start training, Lionfeather" he asked.
"Now. You can help me collect some cobwebs" she answered.
"Okay"

When they finally found some cobwebs, Lionfeather tawt Midnightpaw how to collect cobwebs and how to find them. This is hard he thought, sneezing.

When they got back to camp he headed for the nursery to see his mum.
"Yarrowkit should have been made an apprentice with us" Midnightkit muttered.
"I know. He is proud of you Midnightpaw, and so am I" Hailtail meowed, trying to hide her sorrow.

He strod into the medicine cat den and layed down, placing his tail over his nose. I miss the nursery and the soft sent of milk he thought.

He woke up to the sound of Lionfeather organising her herbs.
He glanced outside the medicine cats den, to see Amberpaw sneaking into camp without her mentor.

"Huh.. that's strange" he whispered, she's never been very exited to go outside of camp "um... Lionfeather may go out to collect some herbs?"

"Yes you may and get some burdock root will your out" answered his mentor, throwing out some old herbs.
