"Honey," my mom called out to me. "Come downstairs. I need to talk to you."
"Coming, mama!" I ran downstairs.
"Honey bun, I need to tell you something. You're a big boy now, it's time."
"What is it, mama?" I asked. I was starting to feel uneasy.
"Honey, you have to understand. I wanted to tell you, b-b-but-"
"Just tell me, mommy! Please!"
"Okey then, here we go: Honey, you're adopted."
"W-w-www ww-what?" My entire world came crashing down.
How could she do this to me? I wondered. I began to cry.
"Don't worry Honey, I'm still your Mommy."
I had so many questions.
"Who is my real mom then?" I asked. "You know, my birth mom?"
"Your birth mom is right outside. She made me promise that she could meet you one day."
I didn't know what to think. I walked over to the door, slowly opening it.
