There was a knock at the door.
It was Morgan!
Adoptive Mother had invited her over for dinner to apologize for everything.
I was so excited to see her after all these months! When she opened the door, I bounded over, and leaped into her arms!
But wait- Something was off...
Her belly was really big! Was she pregnonontt??? 😳😱
Adoptive Mother noticed too.
"Morgan," She said. "I thought your husband had passed... Did you find love again?"
"I did..." Morgan replied.
My heart ached. Of course our relationship couldn't last. She was my mom after all.
But then it hit me.
All those times we had slept together...
I glanced at her, and she nodded.
"I'd like some time to catch up with my son, If that's okay," Morgan said to my adoptive mother.
She nodded. "That's fair. I'll give you some space."
The moment she left, Morgan rushed over to me. I gave her a kiss, and put my hands in hers.
She smiled at me.
"Oh my love, you're gonna be a dad very soon!" She said placing my hands on her tummy.
I leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. I was lost for words.
We were gonna have a baby!!
