"Mm.." You turned in the bed, moving your arm to wrap it around your husband, only for your arm to land on the cold sheets. You slowly opened your eyes, not seeing your red haired husband anywhere in sight you pouted slightly and turned back around to close your eyes and go back to sleep.

You didn't feel like getting up but wonderful aroma of food and the sound one of your favorite sza (or any artist) songs playing caused you to peel the sheets off your body and get up out of the bed.

Sluggishly walking throught the hall of your penthouse and towards the kitchen, the smell of the food got stronger. Your mouth was watering.

When you finally made it to the kitchen you spotted your red haired husband cooking on the stove with his back faced to you.

Ejirou had nothing on but a pair of boxers and an apron. His toned back flexing everytime he moved his arms. And the sound of his voice as he sung your favorite song was enchanting.

You walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around the male- making him jump a little as you bury your head in his back.

"Oh‐ good morning darlin!" He turned around and smiled at you with that sharp tooth smile that you love so much before leaning down to kiss you. "Mm~ Your lips are so soft and sweet"

"Heh, you say that almost everytime we kiss"

"Eh, I can't help that it's true"

"So.. whatchu making?" You leaned to the side to try and see what was on the stove but he moved his body a bit to block you from taking a peek.

"Ah, ah, ah. You'll see when it's done. Now go sit at the table love. It should be done soon."

"Aw, alright" You walked to the dining room table and sat at the very end waiting for Kiri to bring out the food. And just as promised he came out about five or six minutes later, with a huge smile on his face, holding a tray up in the air for you not to see just yet.

"Hehe, why are you smiling like that?"

"What? Am I not allowed to smile at my lovely husband?" He questioned, standing beside you and bringing the tray down in front of you.

The tray consisted of a glass of wine, a small bowl of sliced fruit and berries, and card with the words 'happy birthday' written on it in f/c letters, and a plate that held eggs, maple sausage links, hashbrowns and a nice sized stack of pancakes that had a lit candle in it.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to my baby~" He paused to give you a quick peck on the cheek. "Happy birthday to~ you~"

"Aw Eijirou! I almost forgot it was my birthday!"

"I know, and I sorta took that to my advantage!" He smiled proudly and pointed his thumb at himself. "Now hurry, make a wish and blow out the candle!"

Doing as told, you closed your eyes with a smile on your face and made a wish, blowing the candle out right after.
