❝ I'M SO BORED, ❞
Mari groaned, dragging the 'D' and yanking on her eye bags. It was a Friday night, and two of the most famous — not to mention attractive — women sat in a luxury penthouse doing absolutely nothing.
It wasn't like you both hadn't gotten dozens, if not hundreds, of party invites, but they all were the same. 'Hello [L/N] [F/N], you have been invited to blah, blah, blah.'
You wanted something new and exciting, but everything in Japan was the same—the same people, the same clothes, the same shows, all old, nothing new.
Silence passed before Mari cut through it like a knife with a loud shriek.
"EKK! Look.. at.. this!" Mari shoved the phone in your face with stars in her eyes, causing your eyes to burn since it was mildly dark, and you didn't react well to the bright light of her phone. "First off, back up and hand me the phone like a normal person. And second off, stop screaming," you demanded, shoving the girl's face away from yours.
Mari whined but obeyed. Your eyes scanned the screen with a slightly baffled expression. It was an article that read,
'BLUE LOCK PROGRAM HAS BEEN DEEMED SUCCESSFUL AFTER HAVING WON THE WORLD CUP!'
You already saw this. Everyone was talking about it, even your parents, but you couldn't understand why they were so happy. "Mhm, cool," your eyes displayed nothing but boredom as you tossed the phone back to your best friend. Now it was her turn to be confused. "Cool? COOL? Do you even know what this means? It is the first time in ages that we've won the world cup, and this year's team is hot!"
"I know, but I don't understand why watching a group of sweaty men run around is interesting, or—" You were cut off when your phone vibrated in your pocket.
