I finally get off the floor, grab my penny board & am off to school. I wasn't paying any attention where I was going, when I bumped into someone making me and the person fall. I look up to see a guy with blue eyes that could make you melt, & brown hair. "I'm so sorry" I say as I get up off of him. "It's okay." He says. I get on my penny board and am riding it to school, when I hear him holler "what's your name?" "Ashley" "what's yours?" "Hayes, Hayes Grier." & with that I'm off to school. I walk in school and get called names as I walk through the hallway.
"Fat"
"Ugly"
"Kill you self."
" nobody likes you"
"Pig"
A little tear slipped out of my eye. I look over to see that kid Hayes from this morning. He looked over and gave me the "what's wrong" face considering he just walked inside. I ran to the bathroom and started crying, I don't know why either. I'm so used to be calling these awful names. I hear the bell ring so I run to class, with my tear stained cheeks. "Mrs. Firestone, why are you late, & why do you have that bruise on your cheek?" Ms. Hale asks. "Uh I tripped on my way to class." I lied. My abusive mom did this. I look over to see Hayes looking at me. He soon looked away as he blushed. "Ok, sit down and turn to page 35." I just nod. I sit next to Hayes considering that's where I sit. Finally the bell rung which means it is lunch. Well, let's see how this goes.
