The emergency alert

It was a peaceful morning at the MxM house. Out favorite couple, Mario and Meggy, were fast asleep. Then, Mario woke up.

Mario: (yawns) Morning, honey.

Meggy: Hehe... Morning. Want to make some breakfast?

Mario: Yeah. (Walks into the kitchen)

Misty: (sleeping on the couch)

Mario: Heh... Morning, sweetie.

Misty: Morning, Daddy! (Hugs him)

Mario: Wanna help me and Mama with breakfast?

Misty: Yeah!!! Breakfast!!!!

Mario: (carries her to the kitchen) Let's get to work.

Misty: Okay! Morning, Mommy!

Meggy: Morning, sweetie. Let's get to work on breakfast.

Misty: Okay!

Meggy: (Starts to cut chocolate for the pancakes)

Misty: (cracks eggs)

Mario: (works on the meat)

(2 hours later)

Melony: (wakes up) Morning, guys.

Mario: Morning, Mel.

Melony: (works on hashbrowns)

Misty: Misty: (mixes the eggs) Mama, do you know if there are other heroes aside from Papa?

Meggy: Yes, sweetie. There's an entire group of them called the Defenders.

Mario: Yep.

Misty: How come I never met them?

Meggy: That's because they are on Mars fighting a war.

Misty: Oh. Well, maybe we'll meet them one day.

Mario: Maybe. Oh, bacon is done.

Meggy: Yay! Same on the pancakes.

Misty: (finishes the eggs with Melonys help)

Melony: Okay. And, done with the eggs and the hashbrowns.

(After they ate)

Mario: Ah. That was good. (Burps) Scuse me.

Misty: (giggles)

(Then, a security alarm went off)

I.V.A.N: Sorry to interrupt your morning, Mario. But a man at the mountains has requested help for a mission.

Mario: Play the audio clip, I.V.A.N.

Audio clip: Can anyone hear me? This is Turbo of the Defenders. The Red Riot army has invaded England. If any nearby hero is here on Earth, please respond. The global security agents need backup. GET DOWN! (Fires a laser)

Mario: ... Tell him I'm on my way. (Runs to the secret hatch and gets his suit on) I'll be back later. (Kisses Meggy on the lips)

Meggy: (Kisses back) Be safe.

Mario: I will. (Leaves)
