Mario took Turbo to a Japanese garden where Mario used to train with Meggy. He thought that the peaceful environment would help calm Turbo down. Plus, he noticed that Turbo didn't have a fighting style and was relying too much on his tech.

Turbo: Why are we here?

Mario: Well, I saw 2 flaws during the fight. 1, your temper. And two, you're relying on your technology too much. What fighting styles do you know?

Turbo: ... None.

Mario: I knew it. I could teach you some skills.

Turbo: Umm... okay. Let's do this.

They head to the koi pond and take their shirts off to start training.

Mario: We'll start with a simple kick. HYAH! (Kicks into the air) Your turn.

Turbo: Okay. (Does the same thing but falls) HY-Woooah! (Falls) I lost my balance.

Mario: I see that. Well, you don't always get these on the first try.

Turbo: I see. Well, what was your training?

Mario: Well, moving a mountain, breaking steel, pulling monster trucks, and fighting giant robots that can repair themselves. Without using my tech.

Turbo: ... HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?!

Mario: Start with basic physical training.

(Training montage)

Turbo: Okay, what do I do first?

Mario: Left these dumbells. (Points to 30lb dumbells)

Turbo: How many times?

Mario: 1000. But, you can stop for breaks.

Turbo: Got it. (Starts by lifting the dumbells 333 times)

Mario: Good work. Now, give me 300 push-ups.

Turbo: Yes, sir. (Does 100 before falling)

Mario: Good work. Now it's time for laps. Give me 20 laps around the garden. GO!

Turbo: Oh, God. (Starts running 10 laps before getting tired)

Mario: You did well. Join me tomorrow, and we can finish the rest of your training.

Turbo: G... Got it.

(The next day)

Mario: Alright. 100 more push-ups and lifting weights 100 more times.

Turbo: Got it. How much longer do I need to do this until I'm ready to train?

Mario: A week.

Turbo: Got it. (Does 100 more push-ups and weight-lifts) Okay, now it's time for my laps.

Mario: Get to it.

Turbo: Got it. (Does his laps)

(We skip to one week later)

Turbo: ... I am ready for my martial arts training, Master.

Mario: Very well. Now, let's begin, Turbo.

Turbo: (comes at him using Tae Kwon do)

Mario: (blocks and continues to attack)

Turbo: (does the same before clashing with him. But then...) HYPER KIIIIICK! (Knocks Mario back a bit)

Mario: Hehe... nice. You're ready.

Turbo: Really?

Mario: Yes. Next time, the Red Riot shows up, they're dead.

Turbo: Great. Now, let's kick some ass.
