You were sitting in the kitchen, while kai was in the basement preparing for a cult meeting. Of course, the annoying asshole, Meadow, was sitting with you as kai forbid anyone but you downstairs while he was getting ready.

"So.." You spoke out trying to get rid of the awkward silence as you sat opposite your enemy. "So what y/n jesus come up with a topic you're always so fucking lame." Meadow criticised. "Oh sorry that i'm soooo boring, how about you come up with a topic for once you fucking asshole! If you're so reliable on me talking you must love me a whole awful lot then!" You snapped back, letting your anger issues speak. "I will not hesitate one bit to tell kai what i saw on your thighs earlier." She threatened, causing your face to look even more pissed off. "Don't you fucking dare, i can get you kicked out of this cult anytime i want. I'm the one whose dating Kai, not you, you little pissy bitch. Why are you so in love with my boyfriend anyways? He loves me and only me. He's my king and i'm his queen so back the fuck off my man you slut." You spoke in a furious and pissy tone, quiet but loud enough for her to hear. "Oh i see how it is, y/n." Meadow said trying to sound like she's on top and knows everything, she just sounded cringe to you. Before you could stab the fuck out of her, she yelled out kai's name.

You heard kai loudly grunt in anger, his footsteps pounding up the stairs. Your face and heart dropped at him standing there, you were scared for what you knew was about to happen. You couldn't stop meadow from saying anything. You didn't have control of her voice. "Little y/n has something she needs to share with you, divine ruler" Meadow proudly spoke, sounding like she was the queen, jesus you just wanted to bash her head in. Kai turned his head and looked at you, "Is there anything you need to tell me my queen?" He asked, folding his arms leaning against the door frame. It was unusual for kai to be this calm when someone, like meadow, disrupts his work downstairs. Meadow scoffed at the nickname. "No my king, sorry for disturbing you." You warmly smiled at your boyfriend. "There actually is something, divine ruler. Y/n needs to share something pretty serious, about her body." Meadow annoyingly announced. You glared at her with fury building up in your eyes.

"Y/n, bedroom." Kai demanded as you got up and followed him. Great, no way out of this now. Even if kai loved you, there was never any way to get out of his demands. You walked into the bedroom, after kai. "Strip now, please." Your king commanded with a straight face. You pulled your shirt over your head, keeping your bra on. "Pants now too." "I-i can't, kai." "True lovers don't keep secrets from eachother, the king and queen never hide from one another." "I know but- you don't understand" You choked out, tearing up knowing how many scars are under your jeans. "My queen, do it or there will be punishment." You listened and slowly unbuttoned your jeans, letting a tear fall from your eye.

You completely pulled them off and kicked them somewhere in the bedroom, leaving kai staring at your body with an upset look on his face, which was quite rare. You looked up at him, seeing him tearing up while concerningly flicking his eyes across you. You haven't seen kai cry for 2 years, this was odd. "Why are you- why are you doing this to yourself." He choked out before letting a few tears shed from his dark eyes. You haven't seen this side of kai for years, soft and upset kai. It has always been angry and screaming kai. "I'm sorry kai, please don't be mad." You sobbed out while clenching your arms around your stomach. "I'm not sweetheart, i promise." He cried out while sniffling and walking more towards you, pulling you into a hug. "Please tell me why." "Everytime you slap me, or scream at me, especially in front of the cult, or anytime you make me cry until i can't even breath, i cut myself. Its stupid, i know." You stammered feeling defeated. Kai wrapped his arms tightly around you, putting his huge hand on the back of your head, kissing your forehead before crying with you and holding you tightly. "Oh babe." He sobbed. "I'm sorry darling, i never meant to make you feel like this." Kai said at a loss for words. "Its okay." You cried back, knowing it wasnt okay that your lover was making you cut yourself, but you didnt wanna say anything about it. 

Kai pulled back, "Hey how about i post-pone the cult meeting for a bit and we can just cuddle in bed with eachother, hows that sound?" He said while twirling your hair in between and around his fingers. "I'd like that, i love it when you're like this." You smiled at him while sniffling. "Get comfy darl." Kai warmingly said while walking out, into the kitchen, avoiding eye contact or even looking at meadow. He picked up the home phone and individually wrang up each of his little cult members.

You put some fluffy pants on and a sweater that belonged to kai. You slid under his covers and got comfy in his bed, waiting for him. You heard his footsteps coming closer. He opened the door and got into bed next to you, opening his arms inviting you into cuddle. You wriggled into his arms, letting him hold you tight. "Please dont do this to yourself any longer, i know i may not act like it but i care about you alot more than you think, y/n. You're my miracle, my queen and the love of my life. I love you so fucking much." Kai tried to make that known to you, his deep voice sounding serene. "I love you too, kai."
