"Good Afternoon Evanna, I am Detective Morris and this is my partner Detective Sykes. "

Detective Morris had brown hair with blue eyes, he was at about 6'1. He looked around 30 years old. Sykes on the other hand was blonde with hazel eyes, bright green flecks in them. He was about 5'11. Sykes looked around 25 or so. They were both handsome young men, I wonder what made them become detectives.

"What do you want." I asked taking a drag from my cigarette.

"You can't smoke in here." Detective Morris says.

"It helps me with stress, and if you want me to answer your questions, you'll let me smoke the rest of this." I roll my eyes.

"Mam this is no joke. Do you not know you have been accused of abuse and four accounts of murder!" I roll my eyes again.

Finishing my cigarette. I smashed the stub onto the metal table, smoke coming from between my lips. Of course I know I have been accused of those three things, they won't tell me who told them. But the thing is I think- no I know who did this. I have been here for three days and now they want to ask me questions, and here I thought they would do it right away.

"Yeah what of it."

"You have been accused and there happens to be some evidence, and a victim who escaped from you." Detective Sykes says.

I put my elbows on the table, my chin resting on my hands as I look Detective Sykes directly in his hazel eyes.

"And where might this evidence be?" I asked sweetly.

Detective Morris pulled a bag from the floor onto to the table. I reach over and grab the bag opening it. Inside was a bloody knife, rope, a bottle of some sort of poison and papers. I take the papers and go through them, they were typed instead of hand written. The bitch is a smart bitch, how she managed to pull this off is beyond me. The papers held blueprints and maps of places. There were also four pictures, the first one was of my deceased husband who was murdered. The second photo was of his first wife who died unknowingly. The third was a friend of Ella's, his name was Bruno. I looked at the last photo and paused.

"I would never ever lay a hand on my child!" I say to both detectives menacingly.

"She drowned in the pool at my house, she didn't even know how to swim."

"I am sorry mam, but we reopened the case and an autopsy showed that your daughter drowning was not accidental." Detective Morris said.

"Are you accusing me of murdering my own child? I would never do such a thing, that is my daughter!"

"We are not saying that, like we said before you are being accused four accounts of murder -"

"I know what I am being accused of damn it!" I yelled.

"That is why we need your side of the story Evanna, we know you didn't do it." Detective Sykes said.

"Wait what?"

"We are not supposed to tell you this but, your step daughter Ella is the one who sold this to the authority." Morris says.

"There was also something off about her, I can tell she wasn't really being truthful. But she strangely has evidence against you and we have no evidence on her." Sykes said.

To say I was surprised was an understatement, I was shocked. So they just want to get my side of the story and that's it? Fine with me.

"In order to get me out of here I have to tell my own side of the story, right?" They both nodded.

"Okay, so where do I begin?"

" From the beginning."

"It's really long story."

"We have time to kill." Sykes says.

I looked at the both of them to make sure they're not shitting me. But I could tell that they weren't. I heaved out a big sigh.

"I was out with a couple of friends at a bar..."
