The morning light peeked through the silk curtains as they opened.

It was a morning like any other, surely. Sora had just woken up to the sound of birds chirping outside and the sound of a faint alarm playing.

He noticed the curtains were open. He didn't open them, of course. But he ignored it and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

He grabbed a bowl and rinsed it, grabbed a cereal box, milk, and a spoon. He was too lazy to do anything bigger this morning. As he was pouring the cereal in the bowl, he noticed the sound of faint footsteps coming from the hallway. 

It was Charli.

He smiled and waved, but deep down was annoyed by her presence. Even more annoyed by knowing that she had never mentioned to him about her relationship with his ex.

"Hi, Sora! It's nice today, isn't it?" She smiled, while looking out the window.

"Yeah...are you hungry? I can make you something." He replied.

"Mhm! Thanks! I'll take anything...I'm starving!"

When she turned her back, he glared at her with his teeth clenched and fists balled up.

He wanted to be nice, still, so he made her eggs and bacon. As she talked in her shrill, squeaky voice while he cooked, he couldn't help but roll his eyes. He absolutely hated it.

"...And it was so much fun! I couldn't stop riding that rollercoaster--and the food was SOOO good! I bought so many rock candies and ate those things up SO FAST! I wish you would have gone, Sora! Me and Jaxx LOVED it!" 

"Yeah..cool", he shrugged.

"... Sora, are you okay? When me and Jaxx started dating, you just seemed...different. Do you not...like it?" She asked, fidgeting with her hair and nails.

He just glared at her and she was taken aback by it.

"Charli", he sneered, angrily. "You need to learn that some things aren't ok when the other person didn't even KNOW about it."

"What?" She questioned, puzzled about what he said.

"I SAID...I--"

As soon as he was about to say something, Jaxx walked in.

"Good morning, Charli!" He greeted, smiling.

"Hey!! Morning!" She waved back at him.

Sora just stared at the two of them. Annoyed that Jaxx didn't say hello to him, he spoke.

"So I don't get a 'good morning'? Not even a greeting?..." He hissed.

"Oh, uhm..hi." He said, looking Sora up and down. 

Sora just rolled his eyes. He finished the food for Charli and gave it to her. Charli quickly complimented the food, like she always does.

"It looks so...tasty! Sorry, I'm running out of compliments..."

"It's fine. I appreciate it, I guess..." He said while blushing from nervousness. He always got nervous when someone gave him compliments.

"Uhm...Charli, can you share some?..." Jaxx asked, then whispered into her ear.

"Oh...yeah." She replied.

Sora was even more annoyed before. The thought of Jaxx saying bad things that didn't even happen irritated him, and he definitely didn't want anything to do with any lies.

"I'm just gonna go back to my room", he sighed, grabbing a cup of coffee and trudging upstairs.

As he got up to his room, he put the cup of coffee down and groaned in irritation. He grabbed his phone and scrolled through his notifications, and the comments on Alex's latest video.

He read a few comments..

He couldn't help but tear up at some of them. He believed that he was driving their viewers away, and it really seemed like people agreed.

He just wiped his tears and closed the app.

He crawled under his covers again and just went back to sleep. He had already felt beat up enough from Charli and Jaxx.
