~A little poem to you all. Hope you like it.~
--------------------------------------------

The beast tears into me;
Ripping my flesh
It devours me
Conquers me.
It's won;
There is none of me left
I'm... wait.
There.
In the mass expanse of dark;
That speck
That's me
Nothing but a measly speck
In a pool of nothing.
Yet... I'm there,
And I will not be beaten
By such a beast
As myself.

"It's snowing," looking out my frost covered window I could see so many snowflakes coming down from the night sky. It was so beautiful to watch snow falling, but I soon noticed that there was someone standing outside.

"What in the world," I thought as I saw the person standing outside with barely anything on.

I must be imagining things. After rubbing my eyes thinking I could clear my vision. To no avail I could still see someone was out there standing in the snow. I tried my best to see who it was standing out there, but I couldn't make out much. The frosted window, and the heavy snow coming down from above was making it hard to see anything.

I could only tell that it was a man outside standing. My curiosity always got the best of me which at times got me into real trouble. At the time I didn't care. Since I was in a house and he was outside. So I tried my best to see who it was standing outside. So I opened my window.

"Hey!" I yelled trying to get his attention and I did.

His head turned directly at me showing brilliant shining yellow eyes that glowed even through all this snow and the dark of the night.

"What the hell? Wait, where did he go?" I said surprised that he disappeared so quickly. Leaning out the window I tried to see where the strange guy went. I mean how many places can a naked guy hide?

"Alise!" My mom's voice yelled from down stairs. I could hear the annoyance in her voice from all the way up here.

"I'll be down in a couple minutes or so." I yelled back so that she could hear me from down stairs. I didn't hear her yell anything back so I took that sign as she had heard me. Touching my hair I could feel the grease making a displeased hiss. Walking into my bathroom to take a much needed shower. Stripping out of my t-shirt. Turning the water on in the shower. Watching the steam start to consume the confined room. Turning around I looked in the mirror. All I could see was scratches that covered my body that weren't there when I had fallen asleep.

"My nightmares are getting worse." I mumbled. As the same nightmare that occured every night. Had been etched into my mind. I'm always running hearing whispers in my ear as I'm running. Always seeing the same scenario over and over. Me running the whispers turning to shouts as I got closer, and closer to the meadow. Once I left the forest the shooting always stopped. Admist the snowy meadow always stood a man crying. For some reason I always go up to him, and once I reach him his body would contort turning into a wolf before snapping its jaws at me. Causing me to always wake up after the wolf appears.

I shrugged off the nightmare. Knowing the scratches weren't all that bad because by tomorrow they would be gone. Sighing I rubbed my face trying to wake up a little before getting into the shower.

It was still so early that it was dark outside still. Why could mom not let me sleep in. Even though I probably wouldn't sleep anyways. Since that dream always wakes me up.

Seeing the mirror start to fog up at the bottom from the heat of the shower. I turned, and stepped in the shower. Letting the warm water pelt my acheing body. The warm water made all of my tense muscles, and all of my aches and pains go away. As well as all my worries, and stress of my nightmare. I was almost done with my routine when my shower was interrupted by my mom banging on my bathroom door.

"Alise! It might be the weekend, but that gives you no reason to take a hour long shower." She yelled from the other side of the bathroom door.

"Whatever. I'm already done." I groaned as the peace and quite of my shower was disturbed.

She is always so nit picky about the stupidest of shit, but at least I was all done before she came up and yelled at me. Turning off the shower. I opened the glass door of my shower; reaching out into the cool air outside the shower. My skin already starting to get goosebumps. My towel hung on a coat rack next to the shower. Making it easy to grab, and wrap around my body.

After taking that shower I felt so much better and relaxed despite the interruption. Closing my eyes I took a deep breath, and opened the door hoping not to run into mom. Luckily mom had left which meant I didn't have to hear her nag at me about using up the hot water.

Luckily it was Christmas break which meant not having to go to school. This was way more relaxing compared to a stressful school day that I was always forced to go to. Mom didn't ever let me relax though; quickly getting dressed in a pair of light colored skinny jeans that fit me perfectly. With a blue long sleeve v-neck shirt; taking a look at myself in mirror I smiled happy with my lazy efforts. Despite not even trying I admired myself in the mirror.

I walked out of my bedroom in my bare feet; the cold sensation ran up through my feet to all of my body. Stepping out of my warm carpeted room to the cold wooden floor in the hall way. Walking down the hall I could hear my mom messing around in the kitchen. She was hopefully making some breakfast.

Reaching the stairs at the end of the hall. I could start to smell the amazing breakfast she was making. Sniff. Sniff. I could smell the bacon, maple syrup and eggs. My stomach instantly after catching a whiff of mom's cooking.

"Alise you up yet?" My mom yelled from down in the kitchen. I swear at times she just loves to hear her voice cause she was always, so loud even in the morning. It was causing my ears to ache which was odd.

"Mom you don't have to yell." I said in a annoyed tone as I walked down the stairs. Making my way down the stairs. I stepped off the last step and turned to go down the hallway that lead to the kitchen. The yummy scent of food getting stronger, and stronger making me even more hungry.
