Catherine PoV.

Today for the first time I didn't have my mask. I felt uncomfortable when people stared at me wierdly as it was the first time they saw me without a mask. They said I looked beautiful, I smiled becuase it was a common thing in school to say you look good, dashing, hot, or fab with no context.

Andrew was sitting in front I wanted to ask if he had brought the thing I asked for but since he wasn't looking at me I had no option rather to call him 'Drew' loudly for which he thankfully turned back.

But unexpectedly someone else also turned back which I didn't mind...I asked Drew if he had brought it and typical Andrew 🙄 forgot about it until I asked...ugh why is my brother like this.

While ending the conversation with Andrew I felt someone's strong gaze upon me I looked at Jeffrey and found him looking at me already, we had eye contact for a minute before he started talking to Andrew while stealing glances from me.

I felt it stange and felt shy remembering I have no mask on me. It looked like he knew it was me who rejected him..ugh whatever 😕but later left the topic and continued my favorite thing in the bus that is looking out the window.

Jeffrey PoV.

I was taling with Andrew about going on fest and suddenly we heard a faint yet clear sound from a girl

"DREW"

Its the first time I heard that name but Andrew turned back as it was normal I saw a girl she looked kinda familiar to me, it was the first time the silent girl was without a mask she looked good to be honest she was talking to Andrew through silent words which was understood by Andrew while I was looking at her. Later she looked at me we had an eye contact for a minute or so it felt like I knew her before but not being able to remember clearly.
I felt a tap on my lap and I broke the eye contact and looked at Andrew. I hesitated but asked about her

J(Jeffrey): Hey..who is she?
A(Andrew): She is my sister.
J: You had a sister??
A: She is my cousin but more like blood sister.
J: Bro..she is so different from you like you are like very active person while she is very silent and to a corner person.
