Hannah's POV;
Everyday now since Dad has gone out to the city, Bobby has been asking me to go outside to look at the boat. So yesterday, I finally agreed. But first I am going to pack food, sunscreen, water, and anything we will need if anything happens to go wrong. After I finish with packing all of that, I grab my brother and the dog, lock the door, and walk across the busy street towards the dock. "We can only look around for about 10 minutes. I don't need to get in trouble." I say, acting overly protective for myself and the others. I, however, do not have any interest in this boat so I grab the overloaded backpack and find my book.~Meanwhile, Bobby runs around the boat fascinated at every little thing. Winston trots behind him. All of a sudden Hannah hears a big crash, like something must have fallen. She returns to her book, assuming it was just a fishing net. But then she hears something she hoped she would never have to hear-Bobby's scream. An ear piercing, terrified scream. Then Winston barks. Then there is the noise of metal against metal. A scraping noise. The boat begins to move.

Hannah jumps up and runs towards the front of the boat. She grabs Bobby by the shirt, practically ripping it off, pulling him into the boat. "Dads going to KILL us!" Bobby screams then runs downstairs .Hannah's POV;
I can hear him crying and suddenly I feel like crying also. This all happened so fast. I don't have a phone or anyway to call for help. We are alone now. I get up and walk down the stairs into what must be Dad's sleeping room. I find my brother curled up on my dad's bed with Winston by his side. I lay down next to him and try to think of some comforting words for him. "We will be alright. Winston and I are here. Daddy will find us." He leans into me and I keep talking. "Can you tell me what happened up there?" "I don't know," he whines. "I was looking around and heard a ripping noise which was the rope. I tried to get a hold of the dock but I wasn't strong enough."
