Louis gets up bright and early Sunday. Well, maybe he didn't wake up so early. I was ten in the morning and Louis was just getting out of bed. Still, it was early for him.

Louis is smiling as he makes his way to the bathroom. Today he planned on spending the afternoon with Harry. Harry wanted to see what it was like at the skate park so he told Harry he could tag along and then after they could grab something to eat. He liked that Harry was taking the time to appreciate something he was into. He really like Harry and he felt special knowing that Harry was actually trying to get to know him. He wasn't like some of the guys who he had met in the past who couldn't care less about his skating. They though it was a hobby.

Louis didn't think it was a hobby. He wanted to do it professionally. That or maybe open his own tattoo shop. He wanted to live life to the fullest and being a business man didn't really scream spontaneous. It screamed routine and Louis hated that. He wanted a life with surprise, and he thought that maybe by being a professional skateboarder he could do that.

He grabs his board and walks out his door, to Harry's house. He planned to meet the curly haired lad at his house, then they would walk to the skate park. He places the board on the ground and then gets on, making his way to Harry's.

Minuteslater, he stands in front of Harry's house. He walks up to the door and knocks. A teenage girl opens the door. The moment he sees her face, he knows its Harry's sister, Gemma.

"Hello." he greets politely. Gemma looks over Louis before she bursts out squealing.

"You must be Louis!" she exclaims. She pulls him in for a hug. "I've heard so much about you." She squeals into his ear.

"Gemma, stop tormenting Louis." Harry whines as he bounds downstairs. Louis looks at Harry approaching and smiles warmly. Harry is wearing an oversized sweater and leggings. He has Converse high tops on his feet.

"Hey Harry." Louis says once Gemma lets go. Harry goes through the threshold, playfully smacking Gemma as he exits.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you Harry or I'll tell Louis here how you like to think about the way he-" Gemma is cut off when Harry slaps his hand over her mouth.

"Awww Harry, I wanted to know what she was going to say."

"No no you don't." Harry said as he pulled his hand away and began pushing Louis out into the sidewalk. "Let's get going yea?" Harry says once they're a bit farther away from Gemma.

"Sure." Louis grabs his wrist and they walk away, but not before they hear Gemma shout something about not doing what she wouldn't do.

The skate park was only a ten minute walk from Harry's house.  They walk into the skate park, many staring as they see Harry enter. Louis feels instantly possessive and wraps his arm around Harry's waist as the pass the crowd. He even growls lowly at a certain lad who is downright staring at Harry. Harry seems oblivious to the stares. He's more preoccupied by the fact that Louis has an arm wrapped around him.

Louis makes it to the far end of the skate park. He sees Zayn and gives him a small wave. Zayn waves back, only to do a double take when he sees Harry with him.

"Hey Louis." Zayn says slowly, afraid that maybe he's had one to many smokes today.

"Hey Zayn, you know Harry right?" He asks even though he knows that Zayn totally knows Harry. Harry giggles and gives Zayn a wave as well. Louis turns to Harry and instructs him to sit on the end of the half pipe. "I'll do a few easy tricks. Just make sure you're not in the center, that's where all of us skateboard." Harry nods and sits, making sure to steer clear of the few skateboarders. Louis goes to the other end, Zayn behind him.

"I see you're actually making some progress." Zayn states as Louis positions himself. Louis snorts.

"Yea I have. We've been getting on well since the date." Louis doesn't say anything else and starts skating. He does simple tricks, adds a few 360's in there maybe even a handstand flip, just for show. He is trying to do his best for Harry.

Harry just watches in awe. Louis looks incredible as he glides along the surface of the wood. His hair is blowing in the breeze, an easy smile on his lips. He wonders what thoughts go through Louis' mind whilst he's boarding. He thinks that Louis has a real talent for this.

About an hour later, and several awesome tricks (according to Harry), they go to the nearby diner. It's one of those vintage style diners with the waitresses in roller skates and the 50's feel. Elvis Presley plays on the jukebox and it almost seems like a scene out of a movie. However, the people in the actual restaurant are not wearing poodle skirts or leather jackets. They're all regular people with their own unique personalities, including Harry and Louis. They pick a booth at the far end of the restaurant. They scan over the menu and decide to get two cheeseburgers, and order of fries, and a neapolitan milkshake with two straws. They make mindless chatter as they wait for the food. Harry tells Louis more about his sister, making sure to avoid the earlier conversation. Their food arrives and they dig in. Every once in a while, their hands will brush as they both reach into the container in the middle to get fries. Their eyes would lock as they take a sip from their milkshake. They continue with their mindless chatter, bringing up silly stories from when they were in middle school. Harry is laughing loudly at one of Louis' jokes, when none other than Nick happens to stroll by.

"Why if it isn't the famous Harry Styles."  Nick says sweetly. Harry gives him a shy smile back. Louis gets possessive again, standing so he's almost at eye level with Nick. "Oh and I see Louis is here too. You guys on a date." Harry is about to say no, but Louis cuts to the chase.

"Actually we are so if you'll excuse us." Louis grabs Harry's hand and drags him away. He pays for their meal and walks out, Harry's hand still in his. They walk a bit with their hands clasped together. Harry is the first to speak up.

"Thanks for that. I really didn't want to deal with Nick right now."

"It's fine, like I said I would be there right. I'll always be there to help." He smiles at Harry. Harry wants to bring up the fact that Louis said they were on a date, but then he'd rather not. He doesn't like confrontation. Plus, he thinks that maybe was just being a good friend back there. Either way, he's pleased that Louis will be there to help him. He knows Louis will always be there.
